BIBLE STUDY PROPHECY
The
"END
TIMES" is a phrase used
to describe a time of great tribulation like never before.

Matthew 24:21
For then shall be great
tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the
world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
|
And, it very well may be YOUR future.
In what is known as the Olivet Discourse (In the
Gospels) which is a sermon that Jesus gave upon the Mount of
Olives, the Apostles asked Jesus, "what shall be the "sign" of
your return and of the end of the world?

Matthew 24:3
And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came
unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things
be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end
of the world? |
It is clearly
written in the Bible, that nobody knows the day or the hour of the "END
TIMES" ...

Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour
knoweth no man, no, not the Angels of Heaven, but my Father
only.

And that day, comes as a thief in the night

Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth
also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. |
But, we are also
told to watch and to
be prepared, so that the day does not come upon us as a
thief in the night which further explains this ...

1 Thessalonians 5:1-6
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write
unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so
cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and
safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a
woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not
in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all
the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the
night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but
let us watch and be sober. |
It says that, even though that day will come as a "thief in the night",
to MANY, that
the children of the light will NOT have that day overtake them as a
thief. A child of the light, is a child that is enlightened. One that
knows what is to be and is prepared.

Revelation 3:3
Remember therefore how thou hast
received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt
not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what
hour I will come upon thee.

Matthew 24:42-44
Watch therefore: for ye know not what
hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the
house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have
watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son
of man cometh. |
Jesus said that if someone knew what "watch" (General time
frame) a certain event would occur,
that they could then, be prepared for it. But, how in the world would we know what "watch"
(General time frame) Jesus will return and the End Times would occur? Jesus gave us the answer when He said that what we are to watch
for is ...

SIGNS AND PAST PROPHECY
WORK SIX DAYS, REST ON THE SEVENTH
The Bible says in
Genesis
Chapter 1
that God worked 6 days and rested on the 7th
day.

Genesis 2:2
And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made;
and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He
had made. |
God also made this law apply to His
people. They were to work
6 days and rest on the 7th. This day is called Sabbath.

Exodus 20:9-10
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the
seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou
shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter,
thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within thy gates: |
And six years
thou shalt sow thy land,
and shall GATHER in the fruits thereof.

Exodus 23:10
And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in
the fruits thereof: |
If His
people had a servant or slave,
they were to work 6 years and be set free the 7th year.
God's people were also to sow in the land and
gather fruits for 6 years but not in
the 7th. Even Jesus, when He was put on the Cross, hung there 6 hours,
and died at the beginning of the 7th hour.

Mark 15:25 and Mark 15:34-37
And it was the
third hour,
and they crucified Him ... And at the
ninth hour
Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama
sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God,
why hast thou forsaken me? And some of them that stood by,
when they heard it, said, Behold, He calleth Elias. And one
ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a
reed, and gave Him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see
whether Elias will come to take Him down. And Jesus cried
with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. |
They crucified Jesus at the 3rd hour
(9 AM) and He died at the 9th Hour (3:00 PM)
That is 6 hours and when the 7th hour
began ... It was over.
We
see a pattern created by God.
There are 6 time periods of work and 1 time period of rest.
DAY OF REST
The Bible says that after the End Times, there is a one
thousand year
period of time, known as the "Millennium" which
Satan is imprisoned and there is a
time of peace and REST for mankind.

Revelation 20:3-4
And cast him (satan) into the bottomless pit, and shut him
up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the
nations no more, till
the thousand years should be fulfilled:
and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw
thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto
them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;
and they lived and
reigned with Christ a thousand years. |
THE FORMULA
1000 YEARS = ONE DAY TO GOD
The Bible reveals that Heaven and Earth are
reserved for fire and judgment, but
that
One
day to God is 1000 years to mankind.

2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not
ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord
as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. |
It also says
that a thousand years in God's sight are as but a day, as
a "watch" in the night.

Psalms 90:4
For a thousand years in
thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a
watch in the night. |
Now,
let us do a little simple math ...
If God says that

Mankind shall work 6 days and rest on the 7th.
1000 years to man is but 1 day to God.
There is a one thousand year time period known as the
Millennium.
THERE IS A 7000 YEAR PERIOD
A SIX THOUSAND YEAR PERIOD
THEN A ONE THOUSAND YEAR PERIOD OF REST

given specific dates throughout the Bible from Creation to Jesus, so we
can see how much time has
passed from Creation to Jesus. The following is a timeline based strictly on the Bible.
It took years to perform this extensive study, so
although the legwork has been done for you, the scripture
locations have been given, so that you can confirm the
findings.
Let us proceed ...
The
Bible tells us at what age a son was born to the
individual before him and gives other dates and years of
specific events, throughout the Bible. We will add up all
these years and use Adam as the starting point, being the
first man in the Bible, and use the term AA (After Adam) to
show how many total years had passed from the
previous date to the next.
The Bible will indicate how
many years had passed, so you only need a calculator to
add up the amount of years that have passed from Adam to
Jesus.
