We now have a contest which we will have each month. ALL members can participate in this contest and be doing a service for the Lord at the same time.
All you have to do to enter the contest, is to show the newbies at Christianity Oasis a lil Love, so they will know what you know and that is the Love we have for one another here at the Oasis.
At the end of each month, the seven top members who make the newbies feel at home and part of our family will automatically be entered into the C-O-O-L Prize package drawing.
It is that easy ...
Most are doing this anyway, but there are some slow times (Particularly during the mid day hours) when newbies come in and are not being made to feel welcome as they should be. This is NOT because those present are not friendly, it is because many are tied up in PMs or away at the time.
Others are shy or feel kinda weird talking with those that they deem as strangers, but if ya think about it, they are not strangers, they are part of the Christian family ... The Body of Christ.
As an ice breaker ... Remember that we all share one VERY STRONG common bond which should have us overcome that shy or weird feeling ... That bond is belief in JESUS. That belief makes us FAMILY.
So this contest is just a lil incentive to share that Love you have within with others who are new here at the Oasis. If we obey the commandment of the Lord to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, you will do well.
Some may say ... Wow, isn't it kinda weird to offer a reward to show Love for others?
My answer is ... God does
Eternal Life in Heaven surrounded by Love.
And should we not encourage one another to do the same?
Hebrews 10:24 ... And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Ephesians 4:2 ... With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
1 Thessalonians 3:12 ... And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
1 Thessalonians 4:9 ... But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

1 John 4:11 ... Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
