Controversial topics in Main Chat Room

Postby Christianity Oasis » Sun Jan 18, 2009 5:37 pm

Greetings fellow Christians ...

We understand that many of you may be passionate about particular controversial topics and seek to share your views and we do not discourage anyone from doing so, but DO ask that you do so in a righteous manner when doing so within our Ministry.

Within the Oasis community, we allow our members to share their opinions on controversial topics on their C-O-O-L Space and within the private message and private rooms area, but we do NOT and will NOT allow controversial issues to be discussed in the MAIN Chat Room as this room was created for Christians to be able to commune with fellow Christians in a peaceful ambiance and not one filled with debate on controversial topics.

In short ... We allow people to share their opinions but ask our members NOT to discuss controversial topics in the MAIN room, but rather to create a private room and invite those who care to discuss the controversial topic as not to disturb the peace of others.

There are LOTS of chats that do allow open debating in their main chat room and they are no more than war rooms. This is why most find the Oasis to be a more serene and Spirit filled place to gather and share thoughts.

So, if anyone feels they MUST be able to discuss controversial topics in our MAIN chat room and refuse to take it to a private room, they can go to the other Christian chat rooms that promote debate.

The Oasis does not ...

Please remember my friends and fellow Christians that we have many lost souls and potential Christians that the Lord leads here to heal and learn and the last thing they need is to enter a place expecting peace and instead experience debates between various people on controversial topics which oft times becomes judging and can cause these souls to feel condemned because of past mistakes or sin, by Christians who are also sinners who enjoy GRACE.

The Bible is clear that if you break one law you break them all.

James 2:10 ... For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

How many laws has each of us broken?

So it boils down to one statement that Jesus made ...

He who is without sin ... Cast the first stone.

God is about Grace and Love for one another.

Luv all of ya
Jesus is coming ... Get your soul prepared.
