The Mark of The Beast

Hi everyone,

I was playing the christian version of wheel of fortune on this website (haha) and one of the words that I eventually had to guess was "The mark of the beast". I had no idea what that was, so I did some extra research about what that was. According to a website, getting the mark means that God's complete wrath will be poured down on us... and that only we can choose to accept it.

I am really worried about this, especially because I do not know in what form the mark will come in and when it will come. As a teen (I'm 16 years old), it is very easy for me to get into peer pressure or get influenced by people who I look up to. I'm scared that if the mark comes along in my lifetime, then I will be talked or tempted into accepting the mark. I don't want it, whatever it may look like. I just feel confused, and I'm not even sure if the mark is something that will really happen.

Does the mark exist in some hidden form in this world today? How can I make sure that I don't get tempted into receiving the mark? It really hurts me on the inside and almost made me cry because the mere thought of betraying God for the devil is painful... I just feel really concerned about my future self...

Notice that I typed "a portion" because, the Study is very long, yet it is a true blessing, and it includes Bible scriptures pertaining to The End Times. I would encourage every Christian to read it, if I could. And let us not forget, that all Christians have the indwelling of The Holy Spirit to lead us into all Truth and to comfort us. The mark of the beast will be either in the forehead or on the right hand. We don't know exactly what it will look like, but, without it, apparently no one will be able to buy or sell anything without that mark, when that time comes. (See Revelation chapter 13).

However, anyone that takes the mark of the beast will NOT go to Heaven.

It is good to read God's Word about all of this. Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

It can be extremely difficult to figure out what is the truth and what is just a rumor. It's really nice to have clear answers, especially if they come directly from the bible. I was really paranoid about this...so much that I actually looked to see if there was anything suspicious-looking on my and and forehead.. just in case!

It is actually scarey because they have started implanting a chip in people like they do for lost dogs, and guess where they are implanting them, yep, the web between thumb and finger of right hand. These chips will be used as ID and for payments like you would a credit card.... just a wave of the hand convenience.
The other thing I heard was that sometimes the battery of the original implants would leak and cause a sore.

The world is always changing Ladybug... keep asking the Lord for help and guidance.

I heard of that chip too and I heard the numbers in it have a 666 in there somewhere as we know to be the number of the beast. Scarry.

Ladybug2, really interesting post and good you're thinking about such things. You have gotten great, spot-on replies so there's not much I can add.
Some people get very specific about what form they believe it could take. Some even say it could be a barcode, given that barcodes do actually have a 666 code hidden in plain sight. Maybe it will be barcodes that are implanted in forearms and foreheads, but maybe not. Can't be sure on that one. But what is sure is that it will become impossible for people to live as free citizens without having something implanted in one of these two bodyparts. (see under)

Moreover, I regularly research what the powers that be behind the 'new world order' are currently discussing, and one thing that is regularly mentioned is having all people 'microchipped'. Remeber, satan and his servants are very devious and dishonest. They will pretend that there are good reasons behind it, eg. privacy, security, tracking terrorists, etc, and so our lieing mainstream media will tell us all it's a good thing, and will criticise people who are against it.
Further, think about how cool it is to have the latest gadgets, how people line up to be among the first to get one. The mark will be just like this. Our devious lieing mainstream media will heavily promote how cool it is to get such a mark, and (nearly) everyone will want it.
Lastly, the coming world leader (anti-christ, who bible prophecy indicates will come out of a revived Roman Empire, which many see as modern day Europe) will be adored and loved by all across the world, like no other politician before him, and he will be promoted as a virtual god by our lieing and devious mainstream media. Most people (perhaps 'sheeple' is a better word) will be so in love with the man, they will wish to get the mark as a mark of their allegiance to him. (see under)

Ladybug 2, only those who have been gifted an independent mind by God will be in a position to reject the mark. The bible indicates that there will be enormous pressures to take the mark, but ultimately it will be our own choice. The people/'sheeple' will take it, the independent minded (praise be to God) will not. It's really that simple.
I believe you have an independent mind, and that's why you're here asking these questions. God bless you. He loves you, and has gifted you with an independent mind that should be able to see through the deceptive and savage lies of our mainstream media and society at large. I'll pray for you too, that He may continue to strengthen your, and all of our minds in the lead-up to the end times.

I fear the mark of the beast happening in our time because I have kids and i'm no longer with their dad and I wonder what will happen to them as we have joint custody. He's not a christian and most likely would take the mark while my husband and I won't. We are taking measures to become homesteaders but again I fear for my kids although I'm trying very hard to trust in the Lord even tho I'm afraid.

Hi Shan,

Very valid concerns you have. If the mark comes in during our lifetimes, it's going to cause some mega-complicated and literally heart-breaking situations.

From my point of view, I like the idea of pre-preparing and heading for the hills when satan's kingdom finally gets the whole world under its control for a short time, then seeing how long I can evade the new world order, if it's even possible to do so given all of the technology they no doubt have to monitor the whole planet.

Then again, this is a completely unrealistic notion because it's not going to be fun at all. It will either be 'take the mark, or die'. (Matthew 24, verse 9; 'Then you will be handed over and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.')

Families will be literally ripped apart; (Matthew 10, verse 21; 'Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.')

I really feel for you, especially given that you have children that are no longer under your roof. I unfortunately am not in the position to offer you some sound advice at this point, but there is something I would like to share with you.

For what it's worth, I am a close observer of what the globalist agenda and new world order are up to. World leaders that we see on TV are only puppets, there are secretive groups (such as the Bilderberger group) over them, pulling their strings. These groups control governments (including ALL western countries), control all mainstream media, all major banks, decide on all wars that western countries get involved in (generally based on lies peddled through the media), and so on. Their ultimate goal is the one-world-government, satan's kingdom.

I am telling you this because the same secretive groups appear to have an agenda to eventually 'microchip' all people (I believe I have covered this in an earlier post on this forum). I am only a mortal person who has limited knowledge, but it is possible that this could turn out to be the mark of the beast. Only, the media won't market it as such, of course, it will be marketed as cool, like so many other of the latest gadgets.

If, and I emphasize the 'if' part, my judgement is correct, then the mark of the beast is still at least a few years off. The anti-Christ, who most biblical scholars agree will come out of a reformed Holy Roman Empire, most likely a revived European Union superpower, first has to come on the scene, and so on. I hope my judgement is right, or perhaps even conservative, in that you will perhaps have adequate time to educate your children on these matters some time down the track, before the mark comes.

Anyway, God bless you. I will pray for you that The Lord will somehow see to it that His will be done in the lives of all of your family, including your children currently not under your roof. God bless.
