Day 1

This forum is for those who are 18 years of age or older. Teens may post in the Safe-Teen Zone forum in the Teens Section. This forum is a sanctuary for those who are experiencing trials and tribulation and seek words of wisdom, comfort and TRUTH from fellow Christians who have experienced similar trials and tribulation and have overcome them. Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much ....... Just remember that TRUTH can hurt or set you FREE, depending on the understanding of said TRUTH. There is healing in TRUTH. So, be understanding of one another as you share thoughts.

Day 1

Postby Debbie » Sun May 27, 2012 12:00 pm

Hi I'm Debbie,
Good to be here. I pray for God's and your help and support to complete this 14 day program and then to live a more Christ-centered life. I feel so broken and have struggled with insecurity for most of my 60 years. I want so much to feel comfortable in my skin and to enjoy life. As it is I often pray for God to take me home. I pray for God's touch upon my heart and mind and for His anointing of motivation, discipline and self-control that will allow me to love and live for Him. I appreciate your prayers and support.

Welcome. I find it helpful to focus on happy minutes and to try and increase those. What makes you feel God-centered? Focusing on a verse? Christian music? Walking in a garden? Try to find those things more often in your life.

Also, volunteering and saying kind words to others can help a lot.

I pray the study provides you with insight and wisdom and that your days get better and better minute by minute.
Hugs,
Dema

Hello Debbie *hug* sister

Welcome to Oasis.

With in your words I see a soul that is filled with so much love and compassion. Take it easy on yourself, you are exactly where God needs you to be.

He loves you dearly, You are His little girl. He's so proud of you.

Keep on....He'll get you there. But for now rest in knowing you are His and He is yours and all will be well.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
