Hello Mlg, Notforgotten and everyone

The first sinful act by mankind was an act of defiance and disobedience towards God, in that Eve was tricked by the snake (Satan) into eating the fruit of The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (*), which God told them not to eat and warned them that they would die if they did. Eve then offered the same fruit to Adam and he ate the fruit.

For an account of this event, see Genesis chapter 3. But for good measure, read Chapters 1 and 2, also.

Also:  Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
