They Are Not Special

These hands are not special
They have no power to heal
The strength they have is mine
But at times they are used by God

They perform my daily tasks
For days and even weeks
But when the time is right
The Spirit begins to call

And then the blind can see
The lame can walk again
The sick become well
And demons into darkness flee

Sometimes many are touched
Other times only a few
The Spirit knows every need
Knows just where to go

But as the Spirit touched them
I knew it was Him not me
For these hands are not special
They have no power to heal
