My Choice
 
A spirit hovers around me
Shining as brightly as the sun         
Worship me and you will see        
For you, I am the one                  
 
Kneel today and serve me
Raise not your hand with sword
For all the world should see
I am your god, your lord
                                            
Hear my words and then obey                  
And you shall stand with me
For I will triumph on that day
To me all men shall plea
 
As the words swirled in my head
A gentle voice I heard
Step away from there it said
There’s a lie in every word
 
The light began to fade
As I turned to walk away
You will soon regret this day
An angry voice did say

Fear me for I am the darkness
Which walks within the night
You can not stand against me
I'll destroy you with fire and might
 
But I do not fear him
There is no need to doubt
My trust is in the one true God
From the rooftop this I shout
