Day 3

Ok , reading through this day (that is before meditating upon it) , halfway through , the Serenity prayer came mind . Which sums it all up to me , at this moment .

God , grant me the serenity
to accept the tings I cannot change . (your will for me )

The courage to change the things I can (through Your Power)

And the(Thy ?) wisdom to know the difference . (between the two)

This study (day 3 ) started out with , though at first glance my mind went "what does this have to do with either Truth or Spirit " , and when I get to questions like that I immediately stop myself and ask why ? , why am I questioning it ?" then I turn to my Lord .
I remembered ( or should I say ,He reminded me) of the days when I was questioning the "fact"(?) if , "If His chosen people were the Jews and Israelites , why would He bother with the non-Jews , let alone me ! of all ppl ?" .
Of course today I laugh about such thoughts when they come to mind , for He had shown me with ways that are far beyond my wildest human comprehension , and the very reason of my typing right at this moment is to nothing else but to get closer to that Truth day by day with a firm belief that I will never get the whole picture in this lifetime , but at the same time I feel forever blessed with each fraction of a millimeter that I get closer to my Lord .
Though 1 corinth. 1: 26-29 is covering individuals , but if I were to apply the answer to my questioning mentioned above , it would fit it perfectly ,
"The Lord took it to the gentiles to stir the Jews' jealousy" , it says somewhere , I cant recall the exact place , but by jealousy , He meant something like (my opinion) "woah ! look at what we missed out on ? If these gentiles that we thought of as unworthy , can turn around and do the very things we been waiting for but rejected , how much more would He had done for us - His chosen? "

Well its needless for me to go on , for I had written and spoken of the outcome many time a day , of which I never tire of passing on the for the benefit of the next soul after me .

Just like all the rest of the prophets , kings and individuals that God put His "mind" on , mentioned in the study , ended up doing exactly what He intended them to do whether they liked it or not , my questioning today had (He) changed to , "Why not me ? "
I can only say to them " Just look at me , if He can do this to a wretch like me , can you imagine how much more can He do for you ? "
Don't even try to answer that "can you imagine " part , because you can't , Don't wast your time trying , it's Bigger than you can even come close to , just say the Serenity Prayer and go something like this , "Here I am Lord , send me "

Vahn you are so right on here. Accepting who God is, is what is important, and not trying to think about who He is or why He does what He does. God doesn't need us to think about or imagine...He just needs us to be willing and accept.

So day 3 huh brought about the serenity prayer. An amazing prayer isn't it? A humbling prayer as well. It's truly about letting God go within you, and bringing about acceptance in one's heart. Lovely
