Day1 with the holy spirit

Dear holy spirit, I have already written to you in my journal but this is a lot easier. I want you to come into my life, I do not know you and i don't know what to expect, However what if i really got to know you and treasured our friendship? Was i lead to this teaching for a reason? But what if i don't actually learn from you? I have never been good at learning teachings and i hope you will help me with this because in all honesty spirit i am pretty dumb. I am just afraid of messing up or not getting to know you. I haven't been able to wrap my mind around the fact you are god so calling you lord right now feels weird. If you will come into my life i know you will show me amazing things and how much of an amazing adventure being a christian can be. you can teach me so many great things that i could never learn on my own Ijust hope we can be best friends. There is so much about you,god and jesus i want to learn and know about as i am sure you know because i have spoken of this in my prayers I just feel like there is something missing in my christian life and i think it's you. I mean i have you but i never let you do anything in my life or allowed you to take the wheel and i hope to be able to do that soon.
