Spirit of Truth Day 1

This morning is my completion of day 1 of the Spirit of Truth study. Much to my surprise and joy yesterday I went to bible study before church and the subject is "The Holy Spirit." After being away from the Lord for well over a year it stands to reason that there would be a void inside of me. The word of God never left me it had been written on my heart, but that heart had become cold, and stoney and lifeless. After making a willful choice to return to The Lord is was almost nothing short of being mechanical in the beginning. Now after walking daily with The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit and pressing into the life of the word, my feelings and my heart are coming to life again. I continue to pray and seek the drawing and compelling power of the Holy Spirit in my life.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal :Matthew 6:20

Yay, Brendolynn!!!! I just finished Day #2 last night. Am looking forward to the next one this evening. I pray your walk on this path continues and grows!
