Step V

The best thing for me about this step is that I kept moving forward and did it. I wasn't going to do it - just thinking that I could skip a day...Today and the last couple days I've felt lots of attack and energy at times swirling around me - trying to get me to slow down or give up. NO WAY ! Tonite while playing scrabble with my wife (yes she usually beats me) I realized the principle of "pressing on." I decided not to give up, not to just go thru the motions, but to stop, do a re-set and ask God for peace and strength to stay engaged in the game - yes to "stay engaged in the game" Ah Hah. Even now this seems like such a clear goal. Don't worry about winning or losing but stay engaged with the game - the relationship with God and the Holy Spirit and His Word. All of it. Don't cut any corners. Perseverve. There's no way for each of u to know how much u give to me. Sometimes I get to be there for somebody and that makes me feel good - as long as I don't try to give too much advice; I get to share my struggles with some of u and I get encouragement or wisdom. Sometimes by the time I leave someone a message and they get back to me my struggle has already been fixed or God has shed His great light on my situation, but it just helped me to write it all down and send it to one of you guys.

Praise the Lord. I am so grateful for the Oasis. This place is truly changing my life.

Walk in the Light as He is in the Light

Hello Jamie :)

God bless you this day.

You said:

I, too, have experienced this phenom many times. I agree with you, sometimes it's just a matter of writing out the thoughts or questions as a way of releasing confusion and bringing about order. We sometimes get a little confused by all of it just spinning around in our minds at random. Other times, it is God's way of humbling us and ridding us of any pride in the way of "wanting to appear" as if we already know it all. The moment we ask (lay pride aside), whoop der it is...the answer comes to us. *BigGrin*

God is so very Good!!!

God bless and keep you, Jamie.
In Christ Jesus' love,
