His calling...my journey to walk worthy

This forum is a place where those who feel called by the Lord are able to post about any trials or victories they are going through as they serve the Lord by reaching and teaching His children. You can post and then lock your thread so no one can reply, if you so choose. Think of it as your own personal diary or journal that you choose to share with others who are called as to share ideas, experiences and tips as they too serve the Lord.

Saturday morning....thinking about my gifts today....the ones that God has given me...and the ones I would like to have had...but that's what makes us dependant upon one another as the Body of Christ....I mean if we all had all the gifts...then God would only need ONE of us to make up the Body of Christ huh?

God is so amazing it's hard to fathom how He does all the things He does...but it's not for us to need to know how...but just know that He does.

Hurting souls....my compassion for them has returned...I honestly thought I had lost it there for awhile...as I couldn't hear them...but now I'm hearing them loud and clear...and yes deetu...it's not for me to carry their burdens as my own...it's just for me to offer them a friendship...something we all need...even those who we don't think deserve to have friends becaus of the way they act and are annoying....they still need someone to reach out and care for them....and I guess I'm the one who's "dumb" enough to do so even when others dub them a lost cause.
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Gifts of the Spirit are awesome... and yes if HE gave us all the same gifts this Body would be very dull wouldnt it?

Gifts are beautiful! They are wonderful! God is so very good to us and i love every bit of Him, Hes simply irresisitable and when i think of all the gifts He has bestowed upon us all as a church... breathtaking..cant even begin to describe the beauty of it all, no words can describe.

I stand in awe with you sis, He is so very generous.

love u sis

Reading the Word...a favorite :)

This morning I read the Word and was reading about how Jesus healed the lady who was stooped over for many years on the Sabbath...and the Pharisees came and grumbled against Jesus for doing so...and Jesus shamed them all by asking them about pulling the ox out of the ditch if it was stuck on the Sabbath...and how much more was it to heal this lady who had been stooped for years. Jesus did what He knew was the Righteous thing to do...despite how others grumbled against Him.

Sometimes people grumble against us for what we say or do...because they think that it should be done differently...or they think the soul is a lost cause and not worth the time...or even more...they think that telling someone that you love them is not enough...and that you should say even more...causing expectations...but as I have learned to follow my Jesus more and more since doing this study...I will do what He ask of me...and not more or less...despite what others think...or expect....or what day of the week it may be ;) If a soul is hurting and needs a friend...then I will do my best to at least let them know someone cares...even if I cannot relate to what they are going through...I must say it's better for souls to at least know they are cared about than to have to walk the battlefield of life alone....again despite what day of the week it may be ;)

Jesus worked on the Sabbath because He knew a broken soul needed to be touched. Jesus did what was Righteous whenever and wherever He felt the time was right. Jesus is my example.

Mlg Sis, what you've said here in your last two post.
it's just for me to offer them a friendship...something we all need...even those who we don't think deserve to have friends becaus of the way they act and are annoying....they still need someone to reach out and care for them

The way i've always felt is you never know when the day may come the Lord will take a hold of that persons heart and use your actions to speak to a person. Our actions speak louder then words sometimes.

God bless you Sis!

Holy Spirit...I love Him!! *angelbounce* It's so cool to be in tune with Him when He comes a nudging saying I need you to go...and you have no clue why...but you just step out and go...and then when you get where He is sending you...all is revealed and you see that there was a purpose for Him sending you...and that was so He could work through you to help others...just too cool.

A friend sent me a link to a video of a song called...On My Father's Side....what an awesome song...and the words of the song say on my mother's side I'm known as Jesus...but on my Father's side I'm known as Emmanuel...and on my mother's side they crucified me...but on my Father's side I rose in 3 days...

I love my Lord!

Attention Seekers....those that know better...but choose to seek attention for themselves therefore stealing it away from a soul who really needs help....playing the woe is me card....so they feel like they are special when people feel sorry for them or when people give them lots of attention...

I don't understand why anyone would want to take attention away from a soul that truly needs and wants help. Just fathoms me to no end. I remember one time a soul needed a friend and was truly hurting...and another soul at the same time began to ask about how to be saved....therefore stopping me a moment so I could offer some thoughts with the soul wanting to know how to be saved...and when I finished sharing thoughts with this soul...they say I knew that already, I was just testing you...and in reality what they did with their test was take attention away from a soul that truly needed help...asking questions you already know the answers to...is attention seeking...

Knowing this...the enemy will use attention seekers to take us away from helping those who are hurting...so we must use the discernment of the Holy Spirit to test the spirit in which others ask questions or make comments...to make sure the questions or comments are not being used just to seek attention..therefore robbing from another.

Hurting souls...lost souls...my calling to reach them...and they just appear...wherever I may be...He leads them my direction....because He knows I love them...I want them to come to know Him...I want them to know they are loved by Him....

Sometimes this means sacrifice....the enemy tries to make me feel bad for having to sacrifice friendships for these souls...tries to tell me that my friends needed that time as well...but in reality my friends don't need that time....as my friends know Jesus...and they understand....the time to reach lost souls lessens with each passing day...the end nears as each tomorrow becomes today.

Time to reach out to another...and another...and another....God's work doesn't end...until He says it is finished. I love my friends...but I love God more.

Onward I trod.

Jesus turned the water into wine...because his mother tells him they have no wine...what I find interesting though is Jesus' mother's orders to the servants... John 2:5 .....Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

So here Jesus is about to perform a miracle and his mother is giving the commands to the servants...But in reality it wasn't Jesus' mother, the wedding or the wine that was of importance...the importance came from the fact that Jesus brought his disciples with him...because after Jesus turned the water to wine his disciples believed and it is through ...John 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him....the miracle was performed by Jesus to bring belief to the disciples who followed Him.

Just as one of those chosen by God...I must believe in God and what He is capable of...believing that all things happen for His glory...believing that He has a direction for each of us...believing that He will guide me even through the toughest tasks I may face in my calling...believing that He is still on His throne...believing that the lost can be saved, through His blood just like He saved me...and most of all...believing that He died so I may have eternal life and when the last day comes, He will win...He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords...my precious Jesus.

I read the Word...the judgement to come...to those who refuse to Love...those who refuse to believe...those who refuse to repent...makes me very sad to know they just flat refuse to accept Jesus :( That instead of telling God they are sorry...they will curse Him....oh the suffering of the lost...how I don't want to see anyone go through this....just gotta keep reaching...the pain that will face these souls in the end...if they aren't saved....brings me to tears....

Revelation 16
1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
