I am looking for the truth

Postby cawme » Tue Jan 18, 2011 11:36 pm

I am looking for the truth *Pray* I am trying to start over With God With My Life. I am recently divorced and deep in my self I truly believed, I did not love my husband, that I robed him of his chance for happiness. *help* and forgiveness, faith, I am happy that he now has a mate who I hope and pray that loves him. My thoughts and emotions are all over the place . I truly pray that I am here to grow in faith to forgive myself and not fear the future by my self

Cawme welcome to Oasis. You are on the right path to find what you are seeking. Don't give up. Keep seeking.

There is forgiveness. I was blessed by your kind and caring thoughts that your husband finds happiness and true love. Perhaps you loved him more than you think. Perhaps you were just caught up in this spiritual battle that likes to tear apart what God has put together. By nature we are very selfish creatures. We tend to struggle to look part ourselves to see the needs of others, let alone to care about those needs. Some struggle with this more than others but I don't think anyone is immune to this way of thinking and being completely. It is God who can help save us from ourselves.

God gave me a verse the other day. I'll share it with you. Sounds like you could use it too.....
Ps 47:10 Be still, and know that I am God.

Peace be yours.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

God can make all things new. And God loves you and will forgive you as soon as you ask for forgiveness. And then you are a new creature.

I pray that God teaches you about love.

And remember how much Jesus loves us.

Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. That's in John. I remember verses better than the references.

Hugs.
