Day 1

Postby Debbie » Sun May 18, 2014 11:02 am

Starting Day 1 (again). I feel like a mess. Have so many physical issues and chronic pain, and spiritual and mental as well. Just can't seem to maintain a relationship with God, or people--due to deep inferiority/insecurity and introversion; but feel powerless to change. Can't seem to believe that God loves me, and can't seem to find the discipline to pray or read the Bible consistently. Whenever I make any progress, the enemy knocks me flat, and discouragement sets in. Feel very hopeless and alone, and want sooooo much to go "HOME." But I thank God that I have a very loving and supportive husband and that I have a volunteer position at a local hospital that allows me the opportunity to get out of "self" and to help others. Don't have much motivation when I'm at home, so I enjoy my volunteer work very much.

Chronic pain is exhausting. It is very difficult to handle. I am sorry that you have to deal with that.

Your husband loves you - and that means you are lovable. God loves you. God finds us all lovable. You are lovable.

I pray that you will see you as God sees you. *hug5*

Hello Debbie. And Welcome! *Wave*

I believe you will find these steps a blessing.

Take the time to write down some verses that touch you as you go along and post them where you will be reminded of them daily.

Praying for you Debbie!

I want you to know God loves you and so do I. *hug* Take care of yourself and let God love you. *Pray*
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
