13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

God is love. God wants to love you. Christ went through the pain of the cross as though it was the pain of childbirth. He was the first of many brethren.

When we dwell on our sins we aren't thinking about God. We aren't thinking about love and life.

The first commandment is love. And so is the second.
