[b]I wasn't born a Christian but I was born a child of God, raised by a Christian Mother, who loved God more than anyone or anything, it wasn't enough for me. After loseing Mom to cancer, I cried out Why God? she loved you above her family! why her?! I was angry for a long time. Not to mention being molested by my gramdfather (moms dad). I broke mom's heart marry so young, but i knew everything, (I though) then came a whole new world, of a husband doing drugs, abuseing me, I stood between him and my children, took the abuse for them. Then Husband was placed in prison, I was alone again, angry at God again, but God did something wonderful, he drawed me to Him, then he drawed my husband to Him. For the past 11 yrs, My Husband & I have lived a drug free, Spirit filled life. Even when we found out our son had cancer, I cried out for his healing, I even ask God to let me take his place (Mothers heart people) God told my husband our son would be healed, what was suppose to a years worth of treatment, ended up being six months, our son will be cancer free for five years in Oct. and gives God glory for it. Is it any wonder after the life I have lead, the life my husband left before God delivered us, that my two daughters are still under the curse? No matter how we talk, witness and rant, they simply tells us, " I'm not ready to live that life yet, I still have some fun living to do" HELLO!! living for God is fun, its joyful and full of His glory! I have three wonderful friends, whom I met in another christian chat, that have been praying for my daughters, all of us have joined oasis chat and love it. Is there anythign more I can do,? we are doing the tough love, they aren't allowed to live with us, so they can live their so called " fun filled life" we have cut off all financial help, so we are now the uncaring, unloving parents, who love our church family more than our children! I am at my wits end, I have laid them at the Masters feet, my heart breaks at some of the things satan lies to them about. ...Ok enough! I'll shut up. I love Oasis, it has been a haven of peace for me.

Yours in Christ,

Hey sis :)

I just wanna say welcome again to our Oasis family :) I can only imagine how hurt you must feel to see your daughters being mislead by the lies of the world and of Satan. They are blinded by the world, because they believe that love and happiness is found in the world. All of us have been there at some point. I have been there too, and couldnt conceive of living life for anyone but myself. Then Jesus stepped in :) And my life was never the same. You have done the absolute best thing you could possibly do, given it all to our Lord. You do not have to carry that pain and that burden alone, Jesus promises to take it from us. And never give up hope. Keep praying for your daughters, and living the life that Jesus wants you to live, so that they will be able to see and know that there is true happiness to be found when we live our lives for Him. Things do not always happen in the time and place and way that we want them to, but God's timing is always better than ours :) You have been thru a whole lot in your life, and now have many seeds of truth to share with others. Keep sharing the word of the Lord and the lessons you have learned, and let ur light continue to shine brightly, so that your daughters and all those around you who are in the dark will see it and follow :)

GBU always sis

Hello Christdaughter, welcome to Christianity Oasis.

God bless you, I too am a mother and I used to worry and fret so much over my daughter's well being and the mistakes she made. I felt so guilty. But the more I tried to cover and make atonement for her, the more I worried and fretted. Until a friend directed me to 1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. This friend explained that if I did acts of charity for others -- showing them the love of Christ, I could say to God I do this on behalf of my child, Lord, let it be to Your glory, Lord.

Isn't that awesome -- just like Job would do in Job 1:5.

I pray this gives you the peace that it gave me.

God bless you,
Sister Mack
