It may be easier to look at it this way Amy ...

We, as Christians, REPRESENT Jesus to other Christians and more importantly those who do not know Him. We should strive to be a better example of Him to others. After all ... We were created in His image and we are to glorify HIM through our Soul, Body and Spirit.

I look at it like this ... Work on keeping the windows of your soul clean as for His LIGHT to shine THROUGH you to others.
