Prayers needed

Postby Newbeginings » Tue Feb 02, 2016 8:57 pm

Hi everyone . It's me again . I'm back today after completing step 3 (trust) in my virtuous women program. Trust is always so very important . It's also very rare now a days. I can say I am a trustworthy person . I do have many other flaws I have to work on .... I have to continue to pray harder and continuously so that I can draw closer to God and have the answers I am searching for. It seems alittle hard especially hen u feel like ur in the middle of a battle between good and evil . It's just alittle scary at times and hard but I know God has my back. Right now my hardest struggle would be my drinking liquor habit . Iam praying to God about it and I also signed up for counseling to get professional help so I can have extra help. I don't remember the last day I had a drink and Iam not one to mark my days off I just wanna quit and never look back on it . It has really messed me up. I know it's what the devil wants. He wants to mess up my life and this is why I choose jehova God. He loves me he is my real friend . My Heavenly Father . I hope everyone is ok and looking toward God for answers . May god bless us all....amen *Pray* *Pray* *Pray*

Congratulations on quitting drinking! *Clap* *Clap* *band*

And yes, you will always be in the process. I'm glad you are in counseling. There need to be other ways to handle stress.

One hint that I am working on - think about the good things.

A man told a joke to his sister. She laughed so hard her sides ached.
The next day the man told the joke to his sister again. She laughed again.
The next day the man told the same joke again. She laughed a little politely.
The next day he told it again - and she looked at him blankly.

If we react this way about funny things, why do we dwell on past things we cannot help?

Think on the good things. Satan will throw the bad things at you - make a list of good things, and think on good things. The Bible says to do that. Can you find the verse?
Hugs,
Dema
