Stepping Stone 2 The Garden Gate

I remember thinking way back when i first took stepping stone 2 ohh great pulling weeds and being affraid of what i would find underneath them all i thank Jesus he was with me every step of the way and still is with me today !

Lord Jesus thank you for being my comfort and my strength and my hope and taking all my fear away and giving me the courage and strength that you gave to David in the bible teach me your ways and to apply tour word to my life in Jesus name amen !

Part of my not healing in the past and partly now is fear of pain and rejection and i am afraid to make new friends because of the sexual abuse friends hurting me in the past i have such a hard time communicating with others with my learning disabilities and the fear of being made fun of for it .
when all that really matters is what Jesus thinks of me being he created me perfect just the way he planned me to be and God doesn't make junk .
Here is a few scriptures i have been reading and praying into my life to drive away the fear these were sent to me on the cellphone today telling me not to be affraid .

Psalm 27:1 (KJV)
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV)
6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

awww ciny, I am sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I will continue prayers for you. May you feel better soon.

Yes our past can often affect how we make decisions in the future. Sadly, this can lead to us putting up walls when it comes to meeting new people. We will automatically form a mistrust of them, when they could be the best person we could ever hope to meet, but we miss out on the blessing because of the walls. I think that the best thing we can do when we meet a new person is to turn to God in prayer, and ask Him for discernment to know what type of person we have met.

Keep working on the stepping stones ciny....you are on the path to freedom for sure.

*hug* and lots of luv
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

I thought this would go good with stepping stone 2

“God never said that the journey would be easy, but He did say that the arrival would be worthwhile.”

– Max Lucado

NEARING THE SHORE

Every minute is one minute closer to the kingdom of God. We have no idea when the kingdom arrives or when Jesus returns again, so we must always be striving to run the race with endurance, never giving up. One lady who was swimming the English Channel gave up; but when she got into the boat, she saw that the shoreline was only about a mile away. She said that if she’d known that, she would have kept going. The point being, we can’t stop. We don’t know the day of Jesus’ return. Keep fighting the fight of good faith–we know the journey’s hard, but we know the destination is certain (Revelation 22).

RUNNING THE RACE

Life is a race. It’s not to the swift or fleet of foot but belongs to the one who endures. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14). We can’t begin the race and then quit, as Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).

PERSEVERING

We can’t overcome the world by our own power. It takes the strength of Christ to do this (Philippians 4:13). James wrote about “the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing” (James 1:25). It isn’t by our might that we enter into glory but “to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen” (Jude 1:24-25).

CONCLUSION

As Max Lucado said, “God never said that the journey would be easy, but He did say that the arrival would be worthwhile.” So keep on going, as if you’re almost there. Run the race with endurance because the race is not to the swift but to those who finish. And we must persevere with God’s help because only He is able to keep us from stumbling.

Amen Ciny only God can keep us from stumbling....and we have to remember to always turn to God for everything. Most people think they should turn to other people when they run into problems or trials, but in reality God is who we need to turn to always.

You are doing great Ciny and I enjoy your sharing.

Luv ya

ciny *Wave*

I'm so sorry you were hurt. You are so brave to look at the things that are causing you pain. We avoid them because they are so awful our mind just can't deal with what happened. God gave us that ability to set the memories aside when we need to. Take it easy and don't try to go to fast. Put them in a box for a while if you need to. You will find such release when you've over come them. The darkness gets stomped out.

I loved the video you shared. God can give our minds so much peace and rest when we trust in Him.

Praying for you. *Pray*

Hi *Wave* there Pine good to see you again glad you enjoyed the video amen to all you said i avoided the memories many years one day i had to decided to look at the hurt and face it that I was abused sexually and mentally and allow God to reach into my heart and soul so i can be healed and set free i think reading the Psalms a lot helped me to face the fear and hurt he was so brave and i always wanted to be brave like him and have a heart that loves Jesus like him.

I thank Jesus that he has brought back the memories a little at a time so i would not get overwhelmed in it and drowned even though at times it feels like i could sink and drowned he is a good and loving Father like that and knows how much we can handle i am thankful for those he has put in my life in my healing process and some of the people do not even know they have helped in some way

The psalmist sure did have a way expressing his love for the Lord.
He also struggled with depression. Psalm 42:3 I cannot eat, I weep day and night...and Psalm 42:5 Why are you depressed, O my soul?

At times I would find comfort knowing even the apple of Gods eye was depressed at times.

A little set back here on this trail in life feeling snagged yet i can face this one a month or so a go a man veritably assaulted me sexually and it drummed up so old memories yet it is a new one of sexual abuse which how i understand why i was so affraid of the girl when i was a tot and did went out of my way to keep my distance form her i know God is using this to help me to heal and pull this one up my the root as well.

I have had people telling me it is the devil bringing the memories up to pull me down and fill my mind with lies but i say they are wrong i believe God brought the memories up so i can face them be free from it ! like the scripture says and the truth shall set you free!

Need You Now
Plumb
Well, everybody's got a story to tell
And everybody's got a wound to be healed
I want to believe there's beauty here
'Cause oh, I get so tired of holding on
I can't let go, I can't move on
I want to believe there's meaning here
How many times have you heard me cry out
"God please take this"?
How many times have you given me strength to
Just keep breathing?
Oh I need you
God, I need you now.
Standing on a road I didn't plan
Wondering how I got to where I am
I'm trying to hear that still small voice
I'm trying to hear above the noise
How many times have you heard me cry out
God please take this?
How many times have you given me strength to
Just keep breathing?
Oh I need you
God, I need you now.
Though I walk,
Though I walk through the shadows
And I, I am so afraid
Please stay, please stay right beside me
With every single step I take
How many times have you heard me cry out?
And how many times have you given me strength?
How many times have you heard me cry out
"God please take this"?
How many times have you given me strength to
Just keep breathing?
Oh I need you
God, I need you now.
I need you now
Oh I need you
God, I need you now.
I need you now
I need you now
