I'm not really sure if I'm putting this in the right spot. Im on stepping stone 1 and it says to share my thoughts. Well I've been struggling with clinical depression and anxiety for 2 months now and off work due to it. I pray night and day for healing and some days are better than others but overall i havent had a really good day in months. Today was hard. It has been raining for 2 days with no sign of sunlight which brings me down more. I hope I can talk to people on here that may understand or can help. Please keep me in your prayers.

Hello Myamelibu :)

God bless you this day, and Welcome to Christianity Oasis.

Depression can be very challenging, and I too see it as more challenging when the weather (and lack of sun light) is gloomy. Continue reading the 14 Day Counseling Study. It has helped many people, including me, in many ways. God is Good and He loves you.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to post them, and we'll try to help you find the answers.

Hello Myamalibu,

God bless you this day.

I encourage you to continue to read the 14 Day Christian Counseling Study.

Also, I wanted to share scripture with you:

1 Kings 19:11-12 King James Version (KJV)

11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:

12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

As with all the holy scriptures, the stories about Elijah are incredible and such a blessing, so when time allows read about him.

God is willing that we come to Him for guidance and healing. So no matter what deems to knock us off balance, and even though life's trials can seem overwhelming and hot, take time to go into a quiet place and talk to God. He is in the still small voice -- not in all the chaos that leaves us confused and fretful.

Prayers continue to rise to our Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf. God's will be done.

God bless and keep you,
Mack
