This forum is for those who are 18 years of age or older. This forum is a sanctuary for those who are experiencing trials and tribulation and seek words of wisdom, comfort and TRUTH from fellow Christians who have experienced similar trials and tribulation and have overcome them. Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. i left the music on all night.... was then best sleep ive had for awhile...
todays stepping stone was on forgiveness..... there are various levels..
id like to think i forgive people but somethings never seem to leave you nomatter how hard you try......does this mean you havent forgiven them or that the memory just lingers
forgiviing yourself is a whole different ball game....how am i meant to forgive myself or even accept the fact that forgiveness is there...yess, it is a big weed in the garden and i cant see past it ..... i dont have the strength or the will power to pull it up......maybe one day.....
God i need your help....i need to know you are there.....please dont turn your back on me
thankyou everyone for you support....

Yes, it's hardest for me to forgive myself also. I've been told when it seems impossible to obey God's will that we should speak out in faith what we WANT to do and then do an action to follow up... say if we forgive someone something then we give them a little gift ... and just wait and allow our emotions to catch up later. SO, I CHOOSE to forgive myself... because if God (who indwells me) can forgive those who crucified Christ (Himself God), then i know the power to forgive me has to be within me. Now today I'll give myself a gift just to prove that i love and forgive myself.. maybe bake myself some cookies.

Forgiving others is easier, yes. We expect far more from ourselves than we do others. Why is this? For me it was, I knew better, and I SHOULD have taken the higher road. But, when we are unsaved, our flesh is in control. We don't get automatically relieved of that at salvation. It is a process, a step by step transformation. The key is: keep going. Never, ever give up. That is a chore by itself. Add the other feats cradually, so you don't get overwhelmed. And always remember, it works best when you use His divine strength. I don't know about you, but I am PUNY in the power department. I gotta have His . You are doing much better than you think Storm. I read inspiration in your words. Kim
