Blessed are the Poor in Spirit!

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Blessed are the Poor in Spirit!

Hello All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

Some of you may have read my post where I talked of the need for more of an angelic presence around us because of witchcraft, but there is much more we need to understand about our many spiritual needs. The Apostle Paul was our shining example of just how greatly our dependence needs to be upon God, our Lord Jesus, His Holy Spirit, and those ministering spirits He has sent to accompany us on our journey on to the glory of our Lord. We are helped more and more as we realize our lack of spiritual greatness.

When we get on our knees before the Lord and humble ourselves and cry out to Him telling Him the truth of our spiritual poverty it is then we are helped. It was because of our great spiritual lack Jesus went to the cross. There He purchased all the Kingdom of Heaven to come to our aid in time of need. For our spiritual lack He sent His Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to make our spirit alive to the things of God. You see we spiritually lack. And even knowing that our spirit is one of power, love, and a sound mind isn't enough. Having the Holy Spirit in our spirit is a great help, but there is still more.

An even greater measure of the Holy Spirit comes to us when we also rely on those ministering spirits of God around us, especially our own angel that has been sent from the Father to protect us and strengthen us. Are we greater than Jesus? After his temptation angels came and ministered to Him. Of angels Jesus said he could ask the Father and the Father would send Him more than 12 legions of angels. We are of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ and have a right to ask the Father for His angels to surround us and help.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
