#1 Faith Priority! Feed It!

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

#1 Faith Priority! Feed It!

Hello Mack, All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

As we have seen, our faith can not be separated from our Father's grace any more than our Father's grace be separated from the Blood of Jesus, The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant. So Paul tells us:

Rom.5

1. [2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace WHEREIN WE STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Faith in God is a necessity. It is our faith that is always challenged. Our mind is constantly being bombarded by thoughts from the other side, thoughts from the world, thoughts from the flesh, and we must learn to recognize and destroy them by bringing against them our faith in the Words of God.

And just how is such possible if we do not feed our faith with the Word of God? As it is written:

Rom.10

1. [17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Mark.4

1. [23] If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
2. [24] And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

Prov.4

1. [23] Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Rom.10

1. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Pss.34

1. [8] O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Proverbs 18:

[20] A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

Matt.4

1. [4] But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Jesus is the Bread of Life, The Word of God.

Matthew 12:

1....for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Josh.1

1. [8] This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

One of the most powerful spiritual tools I know is the use of speaking the Words of God out loud in faith, or hearing that same confession come out of a CD I have recorded. Either way I hear the word of God and believe it in my heart. And the more I hear it, the more I believe it my heart. The more I believe it in my heart the more likely it will come out of mouth. When I believe the Word of God so strongly in my heart that when I face circumstances contrary to the Word of God I speak the Words of God to those contrary circumstances my faith is no longer just a shield, but a living weapon against the enemy.

We are first saved because we have heard the Word Of God, believed it in our heart, and made confession unto salvation. The rest of our walk and growth in faith should be no different.

Rom.10

1. [8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

The ears have to hear. The heart has to believe. The mouth has to speak. What do we say? We say what the Word of God says about our circumstances. That is how we feed our faith.

Mark 11:

[22] And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
[23] For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
[24] Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

There are many readings on line and books that can be purchased on faith. Feed your faith! Books by Kenneth Hagin and Paul Yongi Cho are excellent.

Confessing our belief in the Word of God out of our heart is a faith action that brings the grace of God into our circumstances.

Love, In Christ Jesus, Saint701.
It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
