[4] No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

I was bound and determined to win a war with the devil I didn't know how to fight. Fortunately, there were books just out that I could use to help me do battle. One that had the most profound effect on my warring was a book by Dr. Rebecca Brown, M. D. It was called, Prepare for War. In the book she told the story of how she wrestled with powers and principalities sent upon her by witches and warlocks. What struck me the most was how she prepared herself to do battle with the Whole Armor of God. She asked our Heavenly Father to put His armor upon her. I did likewise, but I did so prostrate on the floor. And I received POWER when I did so, and I did so 3 times a day.

My prayer was like this. Heavenly Father, I pray that you place your armor upon I. (I desired to be spiritually clothed with The Whole Armor of God). We have a spirit, I, and we have a flesh, I. You can't war in the Spirit with your flesh, I!!! That is why I prayed that God would place His Armor on my spirit I, and I reiterate...I received power when I prayed that way. I asked that our Heavenly Father place His Helmet of Salvation upon I, the Breast Plate of Righteousness upon I, that He gird about my loins with His Truth, I, that He place His Shoes of the Gospel of the Preparation of His Peace, upon I, that He place in my left hand the Shield of His Faith, which is able to quench all of the firey darts of the wicked one, and place in my right hand the Sword of the Spirit, quick and powerful, able to cut asunder the limbs of the wicked! Strengthen I in I with your Might!!! And Quicken this mortal body for your will and purpose!

After all of these years I still get an instant anointing when I ask of the Father to place His armor upon I, and strengthen I in I with His Might, and quicken this mortal body according to His will and purpose...His will and purpose through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is to destroy the works of the devil!!!

Once fully clothed with the Whole Armor of God, strengthened and quickened, I attacked all evil with the Word of God!

[19] Behold, the Lord has given me power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt me!" Therefore satan, I come against you and all of your works of evil against me and that of my household! For it is written of you that you care not for the things of God, but those of men. You are a sin-filled sinful thing! You have been a liar, a murderer and a thief, from the beginning. You are the father of lies. You come not but to kill, steal, and destroy! But in the Word of God I am more powerful than you. Your end is to be bound for a thousand years and then thrown into the Lake of Fire along with all of your servants and hell and death. You were Lucifer, the son of the morning, but how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! [9] Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
[10] All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? [11] Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
[12] How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
[13] For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
[14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
[15] Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
[16] They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
[17] That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
[18] All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
[19] But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

Had you known you would not have crucified The Lord of Glory, but you did, and now these words of God have been written of Him, my Lord who I abide in Him and His Words abide in me, that my Lord and my God (Col.2
[15]) having spoiled principalities and powers, did make a shew of you and them openly, triumphing over you and them in it. Therefore, I come against you Satan in the Name, the Life, the Blood and the Power of the Spirit of God, the Lord Jesus Christ! I stand in the Whole Armor of God against you!

I warred in the Spirit day and night 6 months, from the middle of January until the middle of July. My journey was based upon the following few words. "Wife, you sit there across the table from me. I will sit here and teach you the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and WE WILL GET TEACHING JOBS! Those few words were my GIFT of FAITH! That was it. I didn't doubt at any time during those 6 months of warring in the Spirit. I just taught my wife the gospel, prayed, and warred. The entire time period seemed like 6 days, and my warring did bring some astonishing results.

I had a daughter a year old and the devil was hell-bent on afflicting her. It was the same devil that for 40 years had afflicted a dear cousin of mine with blood clots. That side of my family, my mother's side, had many tragedies that were afflictions brought on by sin. But my daughter Kelly Ann found grace in our Lord's sight and prepared me a table in the presence of my enemies.

I awoke early one morning while still in the Spirit and found myself visibly clothed in the Whole Armor of God. I looked toward my back door and there stood a creature that had green skin, legs like a man although green like a frog, and pointed green ears...and it had a child with it like itself that might be compared to a human adolescent. Instantly I leaped toward it, sliced a huge scale of the adult"s chest and sliced the right forearm off the kid...they fled...I chased them out the back door into the back yard only for them to disappear around the corner of the house...but...when I looked up in that direction I saw a half dozen man-sized angels standing on the roof of my house. Altogether, in their hands, they held a net...the strong kind one might use to trap a leopard...I knew the net was for the serpentine creatures, but they had escaped around the corner of the house...but...not knowing that, the angels, not having a chance to adapt...tossed the net my way...I grabbed it and pulled them all off the roof of the house with the great power of the Spirit like they were nothing. Immediately when their feet hit the ground they turned their backs toward me...and on each of their backs was written in huge black letters, "We love our God."

Toward the end of the 6 month period, I began writing an exposition of Revelation 17 verse 5; Rev.17
[5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

One evening, as I neared the end of the exposition, the Lord spoke to me. He said, "Finish that and you will receive your teaching jobs...plural". The next morning I drove my car to the gas station and while standing near one of the work bays
talking with the owner of the station, a man by the name of Leon A. Word walked up to me and said bluntly, "I know where you can get teaching jobs...New Mexico. Two weeks later both my wife and I had teaching jobs. Two weeks after that I received a gift of inheritance of $10,000.00!!!
