The God Kind of Faith

Faith! Patience! Fortitude!

Ephesians 4:11-13

[11] And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
[12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Daniel 2:44-45

[44] And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
[45] Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

As stated last week we are God the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Earth and have authority over all principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. Long ago I remember the Reverend Kenneth E. Hagin often say that whoever would understand our Lordship on the Earth that no limitations would be on that person's ministry. But, lo and behold, all those many years ago God had already chosen many to walk together in Christ Jesus under the authority of the Holy Spirit for just such a ministry. Whether Dr. Hagin was aware of how great and important his teachings on faith were to us I'm not sure, but suspect that he did.

In the two passages of scripture above I would like for you to understand two operations of God on the Earth. The first is to bring us all together into the unity of the [b]faith[/b], and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: The second operation of God now underway is this. In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. We are the Kingdom God is setting up and it is our job to break in pieces all the other kingdoms of this world. God is making us become a great mountain and fill the whole Earth.

This week our warfare topic is the raging crime wave in America.

Please pray this prayer with me. You principalities, you powers, you rulers of the darkness of this world, you spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies, we come against you in the authority of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has all power in Heaven and in Earth, and we do bind you and command you to cease in your maneuvers and manipulations wherein you have been sent to promote the will of a spirit of lawlessness in the United States of America. We cancel all of your assignments and loose the armies of God Almighty to stop you dead in your tracks!
