Hey Y'all!!!!

Sooooooooooooooo glad this forum is Open to Everyone!

Have I told ya recently how much I luv each of ya? This ministry means a great deal to me... why? Because of Each of Y-O-U!
Those I know very well, those I know only a little and those I will come to know... you are all a blessing. Why you ask? well...because

God Loves Us He Loves me and He loves you!!! Always, without fail, and how better to show our appreciation for His Love, Grace and Mercy, than to share it with others!!! For the opportunity we have here at Oasis, I am truly grateful, Praise always to our Lord for the love He freely gives.

Ok...that being said.... what was My point when I clicked "New Post" hmmmm Oh Yeah!!!

Anyone yes.... I said.. ANYONE! who is led to host a program may share the idea He has given with Brother O. If ya wanna share with us feel free to post such, here or in your own thread. Ideas Rock!!! Proof that growth will follow and His truth continues to reach out.

To clarify, for those of you who didn't know: You don't have to be an Overseer to do so.
God speak through all of us, often times, without our knowledge..... Will ya let Him share through you?

There is SO much open time on the Calendar.... I loved the Christmas Program lineup as the Calendar was FULL! Every hour offered something! I was unable to be here for Easterfest, but I know it was looking awesome at last glance...
Why just these events? Why not every week? Perhaps it is because we get a break from school or work, or the spirit of giving nudges us forward.... but... really, Why?

God speaks always, it is whether we choose to listen that changes.
What does He say to you?

Wanna Share?

Maybe you are called to a program that is already in place.... ask the person who hosts if you can help out in some way or offer to stand in if the host is unable to be there at some time. We are after all FAMILY, but more so, we are one in the Spirit of Christ.

Getting started like this is a great way to "test the waters" and once ya put to rest any fears or anxiety.... Wow, the Mountains will not just move, They will disappear!!!

I know you can do it, He told me so!

Ok... so darkness tries to hold ya back... "Oh Lani:" "I am too damaged to help anyone" .... "You don't know the 'real' me and if you did, you wouldn't talk to me anymore"... I can't even help myself, how can I help someone else"... "I have nothing worth sharing"... and any of the other lies he whispers.... Kick em to the curb! Quit wastin time and energy listening the those lies or worse... usin em as 'scuses.
Hear HIS Truth:

1 Chronicles 28:20

"Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you.

I will tell you this.... NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PAST HOLDS... there have been lessons learned, lessons that will help you help another of HIS Sheep. God brought you through it.... be His tool to help another!

Your past does not scare, concern or worry me.... Your future inspires me God is already there, laying the bricks that will become His path for you... Follow the yellow brick road! In other words.... Get movin

I truly hope that some... nah ALL of ya will seriously take time in prayer and fellowship with our Lord and wait to His seed sprouts.... If ya wish to "talk it out" and organize the ideas in your heart... we (the O Family) are always here to listen.
As Pine has already posted There are a few Awesome COOL Study Programs that will help ya discern if it is His calling... check em out!!!

What would ya like to see offered in a Program?

swweetttt!!! Lani i so very much enjoyed ur post. It got me to thinking. I did see a couple openings, i also saw some new things, both in forums and in chat programs (either that or i have not been paying attention for quite awhile) I am not all that sure i know where God wants me or what God wants me to do here (meaning am i posed to do a program, am i supposed to be in forums, am i supposed to just be supportive, haven't quite got it figured out yet, but am praying about it.) I wanted to acknowledge the post tho cuz u brought up some excellent points!
I noticed that new people sign up as members seems like every single day which is totally awesome! I also noticed that many many people are quiet during chats; perhaps they are in PM or afk or perhaps they are watching to see if they think they will be accepted here, afraid to open up too much. OR perhaps they are watching to see if we are really focusing on learning to increase our faith and walk and whether we are REAL. Just some thoughts. I do agree it would be awesome to see the calendar full every day.
I will continue to pray to see where I am to serve.

i just wanted to say this...goldie, sis...there have been soo many times, in your posts, the Lord has spoken deeply into my heart about issues He wanted to show me. You have all blessed my life in ways unimaginable. Just keep being the you He created you to be...and let Him speak through you.
