Do you believe any of these to be signs of the End Times?

Considering that we are currently in the Information Age and the gospel is more readily preached to the world, this could be a sign of the end of times.

Matthew 24:14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

2 Timothy 3:1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

The definition of perilous is dangerous or full of risk. Today it is becoming extremely dangerous to go anywhere in this world. Christians are being persecuted at an even higher rate than in the past. There was an article posted on Fox News regarding the actual stats of Christian persecutions just recently.

I truly believe the end is closer with each passing day.

We also live in perilous times because of the threat of nuclear war.

Nary a week goes by that I or my husband don't say "...sign of the End Times." It is a crazy time we're living in.
Wars and rumors of wars
People hating one another, to a degree that I've not witnessed before in my lifetime, and sarcasm and devious criticism that, at times, nearly renders me speechless. Ugly, Ugly, Ugly and Cruel, Cruel, Cruel.
Disease and pestilence. It seems mosquitos, ticks and bedbugs are thriving and playing havoc with and on us.
And what about natural disasters? Oh my goodness, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, floods.

Mlg's scripture reference (II Timothy 3:1) is right on. And perilous times, it is. The only other scripture that uses that same word in the Greek (chalepos) is Matthew 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. The word chalepos in this particular verse is translated in English to (exceeding) "fierce".

Seldom do I witness "quiet desperation", but I see plenty of acts of desperation from people everywhere. It's all very sad, and at the same time...scary.

I find I can only expose myself to so-called daily News, in very small doses. Those reporting are so caught up in ripping their opposition, that I sense my own spirit growing darker and darker to the point that it becomes overwhelming evident that I shut off the so-called News and get some fresh air and hunker down with The Holy Spirit. Thank You Holy Spirit for the blessed nudges.

I could go on and on...

All the hard drugs and occult practices that bring evil spirits into our lives could be a sign that the end is near.

1 Timothy 4:1. The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

All of those are so very true ...

Tell Jake (and YOU Mackster) that I said "Jinx" ... Because, I too say the same thing often (Sign of the End Times) watching the events unfold and we are bound to have said it at the same time. We ALL know the "Jinx" rules and rewards ... So, I will be awaiting my cyber beverage.

What do you guys and gals believe becomes of the United States ... As written in the Word of God as far as the End Times? In other words ... Of all of the "Characters and/or countries" written about in prophecy (Daniel, Ezekiel, Revelation, etc.) ... Who or what is the United States and what becomes of it?

Geography has never been a strong suit of mine, nor has history or governments or those in power throughout the world. I know...sounds like I live in a bubble, but I'd rather think my focus and concentrations have been elsewhere, and for the most part, God lead. However, God has graced me to be in the company of others who have been given strong suits in those areas. And let me not forget to mention the blessed help of The Holy Spirit Who both teaches and confirms. Yeah! Thank You Lord!!!

From what I understand from reading and meditating on the prophecies of The End Times within The Bible, combined with blessed tools such as the study on this site on The End Times, The United States is NOT included in the details of the final 3 1/2 years of the End Times (Antichrist's reign). Soon after the majority of the Church, a.k.a. Christians, are raptured -- at the close of the first 3 1/2 years of the End Times -- , there is an event of gargantuan proportion in which 1/3 of the earth is destroyed.

Perhaps that is the reason that Canada, The USA, and Mexico are not mentioned in those prophecies, maybe they make up to the 1/3 of the earth that is destroyed?

Scary thought(s). May the blessed peace of God fill us and we hear His lead. God's will be done.

This is not my area of study. But I'm guessing, considering that the US is the world's most powerful country, we will take part in Armageddon. Hopefully, on the side of good.
