But..........Who and /or What, do we REALly worship?
I do know that the A.A. Book stated Alcohol was our king.
But , when one defeats that king, is there another?
Money,
Sex,
Status,
a ballgame,
wife,
girlfriend,


Just pondering.

Has anyone pondered?
I was correct when I didn't expect any replies.
And.......again I ponder why this be?
Even though I have been and am guilty; I down deep I thought I would get some input.
But.......Maybe it has made one think a little.
I was led to post this.
Maybe i REALly wanted a few responses but, maybe God just wanted people to PONDER.

I think people with addictions in their background move around a lot between different "kings". not saying ALL people. not saying anyone in particular. just saying it's in the addict's makeup to need an addiction. it probably takes a lot of us a REALly long time to figure out the ONE TRUE KING!
a REALly long time to get the addictive substance right - that is the LOVE of GOD...JESUS-my everything!

i am so not perfect. i am so not even close! and some days it's REALly indescribably difficult to get rightly focused and not go for the chemical of my choice, but instead for the CREATOR who chose me!

He has never left my side...even through the indescribable...He loved me anyway.

Speaking of just myself, i am far too guilty of putting many items and situations in front of God whom we should be True worshipers of..i know i fall so short so many times. BUT (and i am eternally grateful) thank God HE loves me enough to not leave me this way. Life on this earth has been a journey and there is still a ways to go... i pray one day, i will hear the words... Well done good and faithful servant! I have quite aways to go and course we all have a past, only thing i can do now is just start over and walk with Him. I am going to try harder to do that and turn my will over to Him. the times i did i had true peace. GBU for sharing brother



i think its time to change my name .... maybe Hope or maybe Hippie Hope.. idk but there is a name change on the horizon
