I'm so saddened today at the news of the mass shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. I was at my church this morning, along with my daughter and parents. I pray that God will wrap His loving arms around this community, and help to heal them of their grief. I pray for those souls who lost their lives. They are in God's hands now.

I join in prayers to our Lord in the name of Jesus on behalf of the survivors and friends and family members of the victims and fellow church members. May they feel the peace and comfort of The Lord. God's will be done.

I too, pray for the souls of those who died. And, may the survivors find comfort in the fact that someday they will be reunited with their loved ones. The Lord be willing. Amen.
