> Why? <

I have no absolute truthful answer, but could this be a clue?
I suspect there is enough to go around, no matter from which " side of the tree" one stands.

In Isaiah Chapter 59

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
5 They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
7 Their feet run to evil, and they make hast to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.
11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

" None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth "
" and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey "
hmmm...?

I think the section from Isaiah that you have quoted is a very good response to the aforementioned question of, 'Why?'

As all Christians know, Timothy, there is no better and more accurate insight into human nature (and the ways of this world) than the bible.

Thanks for bringing my attention to this piece of scripture.

I will bring more updates on Syria in the coming weeks. At this stage the killing continues across the country, while Syrian government forces and their Hezbollah allies might be on the verge of completely retaking the (3rd biggest in Syria) city of Homs.

This city was previously the scene of possibly the largest atrocity of the entire war, in which western-backed rebels ethnically cleansed the city's 80,000 Christians, massacring scores of them and forcing the rest to leave under threat of immediate execution.

In the meantime, events in Egypt, which are still very hard to read, are currently dominating middle-east news.

That's all for today. God bless you, Timothy, as well as anyone else who may be reading this. And may God's will be done in the middle-east, and eventually the entire world.

Wow! 80 thousand! How many years of persecution did it take for them to reach this number.

Hi Pine,

The war has been raging for two years and several months. The ethnic cleansing in Homs happened in the early part of the war, when the 'rebels' took over several districts of the city and surrounding area. Of the 80,000 (this is an approximate figure as it's hard to know exactly how many), it appears that most were forced from their homes by the rebels and told to leave under immediate threat of death, while an unknown number of the Christians were murdered before they could flee.

It's hard to come across exact information, but it was apparently a rapid process of persecution that took place over several months, clearing virtually the entire city and surrounding province of its Christian inhabitants.

P.S. I have just searched for some more articles documenting the Homs atrocity. I have found several, most of which are roughly a year old. Below is a link to one of them. It's quite interesting, and highlights how Christians were protected and generally treated well by the Syrian government before the war against Syria was launched by the west and jihadists.

http://syriancharity.org/?p=359

The article mentions the estimated 80,000 Christians cleansed from the Homs area by the rebels, and gives an overall death toll of all people killed in the war (roughly 27,000 at the time). Needless to say, the death toll has skyrocketed since October last year when this article was published, and it is believed to be at least 3 times as high (including many thousands of Christians).

Re: The situation in Syria

I have a couple of items to mention here.

The situation in Egypt is very volatile and I don't want to talk too much about it, especially since I don't know as much about Egypt as I do Syria.

In the last couple of weeks in Egypt a Coptic Christian priest was murdered by gunmen while another Christian, a merchant, was abducted and decapitated.

The new world order is obviously as heavily involved in the Egyptian turmoil as it is in the Syrian turmoil, but I am still unsure whether the recent military coup was secretly ordered by the western countries for whatever reason, or if the protests and coup were actually against the wishes of the new world order countries, who were largely responsible for deposing the previous leader in 2011 (Mubarak) and installing the muslim brotherhood in Egypt after that time.

Certainly, from what I have read, the Egyptian demonstrations featured a large-scale expression of anger directed at the western countries, whom the demonstrators blamed for installing (the now-deposed) President Morsi of the muslim brotherhood.

That's about all I know about that at this stage. Just remember that mainstream media reporting on an issue such as this is essentially nothing more than propaganda, and our minds would boggle if we had a clear idea about what was really causing so much of this trouble, which would no doubt include a great amount of interference by our western countries in the shadowy background.

I have a link to another article below, and was very surprised to learn that up to 100,000 Christians lived in LIbya during the Ghadaffi era. Though Libya is largely muslim, Ghadaffi was a secular dictator who was largely tolerant of minorities. Overall, he let them live their way if they didn't threaten the state.

However, since NATO supported the islamic extremist 'rebels' in Libya to topple the government of that country, and to murder Ghadaffi, the Christian population in Libya has been decimated.

As usual, the west used fake humanitarian concerns, and downright lies, to justify its support of the Libyan extremists. NATO ended up bombing Libya to ashes, slaughtering thousands of civilians and military personnel, and ultimately bringing al-queda aligned extremists to power.

Though it is deliberately ignored by the media, there are numerous stories of horror coming out of Libya, stories that include concerntration camps being set up to incarcerate anyone the jihadists wish to get rid of (including Christians, black-skinned Africans, and so on...), sectarian mass murders, and the same sort of stuff that the wesern-backed rebels have been inflicting on Syria over the last 2-and-a-half years.

Remember, all of this is happening with the full blessing and conivance of our politicians in the west, on both sides of politics, not to mention the 100 per-cent controlled mainstream western media.

http://www.thetrumpet.com/article/10802 ... iddle-east

The above article is from a prophecy point of view, and I don't necessarily advocate every word it says. But I think it provides a good summary of the catastrophic plight of Christians in the middle-east. The article also makes it clear that Christians were protected in Iraq, Libya, Egypt, and Syria before the western nations undertook actions, often in complete co-operation with blood-thirsty jihadists, which unleashed hell on the Christians and other minorities in the middle-east.

Re: The situation in Syria

Hi all,

The latest news regarding Syria is that western countries are again amping up propaganda against the Syrian government in order to justify their wishes to decimate it through aerial bombardment, topple the secular government of that country and install blood-thirsty jihadist proxies into government, just as the west did in Libya in the recent past.

In a shameful propaganda stunt, a politician by the name of John Kerry allegedly visited with Syrian refugees, and mainstream media reported that all of those he met with had begged him to set up a so-called 'no-fly zone' in Syria (as mentioned in previous posts, 'no-fly zone' is a nice sounding code-word for what is really a piece of seized territory which is used as a base to decimate the targetted country through merciless bombardment).

Note that it was not reported that the refugees he (allegedly) met with had begged him for more humantarian aid, or financial assistance, or for efforts to bring about peace. No, the refugees he allegedly met with allegedly begged him to drastically escalate the war.

Granted, many refugees would not like the Syrian government, just as many others would not like the western-backed 'rebels', but this so-called meeting with John Kerry and the media reporting of it afterward is nothing more than crude new world order propaganda.

Both sides of politics are morally bankrupt, of course. A politician by the name of John McCain, mentioned in a previous post or two, is getting angrier and angrier that the west has not been even more pro-active than it already is in toppling the government of Syria and installing the violent jihadist proxies into power.

This hack new world order politician has been making waves in the news lately, and is getting increasingly cranky that the west has yet to directly come to the aid of its blood-thirsty rebel proxy force on the ground in Syria. He doesn't want the west to directly invade and decimate Syria through bombardment tomorrow. He wants it yesterday.

There have also been signs of sinister co-ordination (in terms of statements, disinformation, etc.) with fellow new world order leaders in the UK, France, and people at the UN, not to mention the worse than useless mainstream media, in the amped up propaganda being spread against the Syrian nation and government. Some people, including myself, fear that the new world order leaders are again trying to lay the groundwork (disinformation in order to justify already decided-on military action) for an imminent plan to bring their evil designs on Syria to the endgame.

Of course, this has happened several times before, and has died down for a while before flaring back up. As mentioned in previous posts, a country by the name of Russia has the west scared enough to be somewhat hesitant about drastically escalating the western-jihadist war on Syria.

Remember, credible sources, intelligent people who are independent of the mainstream media, have been expressing concerns that if the western leaders are as depraved and psychotic as they clearly appear to be, then their desire to utterly destroy Syria (as they have destroyed other countries before it) may lead to world war 3.

The Syrian war has become a major, international proxy war and the potential for this to escalate to unthinkable proportions is very real, especially since Russia appears ready to go to war to defend Syria from the west. And that's just for starters.

I don't want anyone to be alarmed by reading this. Remember, Jesus is Lord, and anyone reading this has first come to the Christianity Oasis Website in order to be closer with Him. I'm just saying. In the end, His will shall be done.

Anyway, here is a great article detailing the awful, reprehensible behaviour of the western (new world order) countries, particularly with regard to Syria. The globalist agenda is laid bare, and although human rights and so on are often used as an excuse, any independent minded person knows that human rights and decency are actually the very last things on the minds of western politicians.

The article is quite long, so maybe you could grab a coffee or tea before reading it.

Here is a horrific article detailing how, in particular, female Syrian Christians have suffered at the hands of the western-backed rebels.

The 'rebels' have been carrying out a deliberate policy of raping the women of all non-muslim minorities in the country, an obviously hideous act that has been approved by high-up supporters of the rebels in the middle-east (through so-called 'fatwahs', etc.).

Needless to say, the media has had virtually nothing to say about this, and not a single western leader has criticised the rebel side for this mass crime.

Re: The situation in Syria

Postby TrueAndMagneticNorth » Fri Jul 26, 2013 12:37 pm

Hi all,

Time for a little update on the situation. The Syrian Civil War is the opposite of a conventional two-sided war. It is a religious war, a sectarian war, a war of tribes and clans, alliances of convenience, and so on. It's way too messy and complex for anyone to clearly understand.

However, when it is all boiled down, there are essentially 3 major sides in the war; the government side, the 'rebels', and the kurds. The kurds want to carve out their own part of Syria, and are at times locked in bloody battle with government forces, and at other times with 'rebel' forces. In recent days, kurdish militias have been locked in bloody combat with jihadist rebel forces, killing large numbers of them and expelling them from kurdish areas. Al-queda rebels are clearly not welcome in kurdish areas.

In the last couple of days the 'rebels' released a video of themselves executing several dozen captured government soldiers in a town west of Aleppo, which is the biggest city in Syria. During the filmed murders, and in the aftermath, the rebels are loudly and continually praising their god (Western-backed rebels have actually admitted they believe that executing prisoners brings them closer to their god. In a way, I suppose they are correct, for it is clear that their god is ultimately the god of death, none other than satan).

I think the city of Aleppo desperately needs our prayer. It is half controlled by the 'rebels', and half by the Syrian government. However, it is located up near the northern border with Turkey, a new world order country which is allowing the jihadists to use its land as a headquarters to attack northern Syria.

This means that it is not so easy for the Syrian government to keep its part of Aleppo supplied, because the city is a long way from the Syrian government strongholds further south and west, and it is therefore actually located in the middle of a lot of rebel-controlled hostile territory.

The 'rebels' are laying siege to the government-controlled half of Aleppo. The murder of the government soldiers, mentioned a few sentences ago, was part of their encircling of the government-controlled part of Aleppo. They are trying to block all entry points into the government-controlled parts of Aleppo, and have announced they will attack all traffic (military or civilian) using roads that go into the government half of Aleppo (they have already launched such attacks, killing civilians).

The affected part of Aleppo has over a million people in it. They are being deprived of adequate food, drinkable water, medical supplies, and everything people need to survive. To bring such supplies into the city requires many people to risk their lives daily.

This is a deliberate rebel tactic to crush the civlian population of government-controlled Aleppo. The 'rebels' have also made such statements that they have no sympathy with these civilians, simply because they are living in areas controlled by the government.

Meanwhile, the rebel-controlled half of Aleppo is apparently no great place to be itself. The closest thing to an authority in rebel-controlled Aleppo is al-queda inspired jihadists who are making life hell for residents with looting and murdering (just one example of this was the murder of the young teenage boy by the 'rebels' a few weeks back, mentioned in an earlier post or two in this thread).

I'll stop there, but I encourage anyone with the time or inclination to pray that the rebel siege of western Aleppo be somehow ended, and that The Lord may bring His peace and His will to the entire city of Aleppo, and the entire nation of Syria, as soon as possible.

God bless.

Here is a short article based on an interview with a young Syrian Christian. The Christian gives their views on the Syrian civil war, the Syrian government and the western-backed 'rebels'.

http://ncronline.org/blogs/ncr-today/sy ... ve-country

P.S. My research on Syria has led me to several sources which confirm that NATO undertook polling and found that approximately 70 per cent of Syrians support Assad, the leader of the current Syrian government. These are poll figures that any western leader could only ever dream of. Moreover, 20 per cent are somewhat neutral and only about 10 per cent support the western-backed 'rebels'.

This does not mean that the 70 per cent are in love with the Syrian government. What it means is that the 70 per cent clearly see the current Syrian government as the lesser of two evils, and therefore a vastly better prospect than the western-backed genocidal blood-lusting psychopaths on the 'rebel' side.

In other news, the last rebel-held districts of Homs (the third largest Syrian city) have been all but reconquered by the Syrian military and its Hezbollah allies. Some analysts believe that Aleppo (the largest city in Syria, which is divided in rebel-controlled and government controlled areas) will be the next major offensive.

My hope is just that the violence in Syria ends as soon as possible, that the western countries completely halt their support for the genocidal extremist rebels, and that the 'rebels' be not allowed any more to ply their evil in that country.

Please Lord, let your will be done there as soon as possible.

I won't talk much in this post. I just want to refer anyone interested to an article. It is from a mainstream media source, but despite this obvious disadvantage there is surprising honesty in the article.

In short, it summarizes the mass persecution of Syrian Christians committed by western-backed rebels, and it states how the Syrian Christians are among the oldest Christian communities in the world, but are now being viciously persecuted and uprooted by the 'rebels'.

I have some more western-backed rebel atrocities to report on.

As mentioned in an earlier post, the Syrian civil war is a war with more than 2 sides. It's awfully messy and complex, but there are three major sides; the Syrian government and its allies, the western-backed rebels, and the Kurds. The Kurds are trying to carve out their own autonomous area, and have fought against both Syrian government forces and western-backed rebels at various times.

In recent weeks Kurdish militias have been expelling western-backed jihadists from Kurdish areas, and inflicting heavy losses on the jihadists in ongoing battles.

Of course, this doesn't make the jihadists happy. They have responded by assassinating at least one prominent Kurdish leader in recent times. They have also abducted over 200 Kurdish civilians in recent weeks, and the fate of these hostages remains unknown.

Now, new reports are coming out that the jihadists have in recent days slaughtered hundreds of other Kurdish civilians in cold blood, in an act of revenge and anger apparently stemming from their losses in battles with Kurdish militia fighters.

I have also come across evidence of numerous other 'rebel' atrocities, several of which involve them invading houses of families who are Syrian government supporters, and slaughtering them with guns and in some cases knives. When I write 'families' I don't just mean the mother and father, I also refer to children, toddlers, babies and the like- whole families.

Hard to comprehend. The savages responsible for these crimes are fully backed by all western leaders on both sides of politics, as well as the woeful mainstream media. This is currently satan's planet, there can be no doubt about this.

More shocking news to report on.

There are now several videos circulating on the internet of Kurdish civilians being slaughtered by the 'rebels', mentioned in the previous post. They are murdered in several ways but in one such video, western-backed rebels douse 3 tied-up victims in fuel, then set them alight.

The 'rebels' also conquered an air base yesterday in the north of Syria, using suicide bombers to breach the gates, which was then followed by a co-ordinated attack between various rebel units. Some of the Syrian government soldiers inside managed to escape from the rebels but, according to an intelligence site I sometimes read, the rest were tied up and then either had their throats slit, or their heads cut off with knives.

Heavily involved in the savagery were 'rebels' of Chechen origin. These are people of a particularly savage, medieval mindset. It was believed to be Chechens who adbucted two Syrian Christian bishops in northern Syria roughly 3 months ago. The abduction was mentioned in this thread at the time.

The fate of the bishops remains officially unknown, but some sinister signs are beginning to emerge that they might well have been slaughtered with knives soon after they were abducted, much like the Syrian government soldiers in the captured air base.

The article underneath does not have any disturbing imagery, so you can read it without being confronted in this manner. However, it contains disturbing information that appears to point out that the bishops were indeed murdered in this most savage fashion.
