new here ill share my story

HI, been chatting for a while on another site, but I want a Christian influence.
Just going to vent my story a little... I have a 16 yr old son who has had chronic pancreatitis since he was 12. He was a normal little boy playing baseball and soccer before it hit him. Since then he has been admitted to hospital over 30 times i guess, not counting ER. Had major surgery last summer (bypass) they found his pancreas was wraped around his duodenum. (anular pancratitis) Anyway, I was hoping for a normal life for us both after that, but not so... he has been back on oxycodone and on the couch (out of life ) again, another surgery due next month. I gues u can say my "dream" for my little boys life is over and it breaks my heart. : (
Anyway all this just to say.... bla bla bla just need to vent.. I am sad about it, but I am typically a positive person. through it all I have divorced my husband, started dating, now not dating, and bottom line is ....
Can he and I have a normal life ever????

first welcome to the oasis, here you will find lots of things for you and your son
from games to counseling pages for all needs and even recipes......but you know what you'll find most of???
God's love and friends, please do not give up because nothing is impossible through God
I am so sorry for the trials and tribulations that you and your son are enduring, I could not imagine going through all you have and to do so alone is even more of a burden.
Please know there will be others that will come to welcome you, please know you can come here anytime and vent as well as be loved and encouraged through Christ, Please do not feel shame or disappointment for the trials you are enduring but put your trust and faith in God to heal your son and allow you both to rest in His arms

God bless your son. Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on his behalf. May God's blessed and perfect will be done.

I know it must be very difficult for you to watch your son in such terrible pain, and I pray The Lord comfort you. I am glad The Lord led you here to this site, and hope to get to know you better and see you around the site, often. Our Lord knows your son's pain, and your pain and anguish too. He loves you both so very much.

May The God of all comfort envelope you with peace and joy and healing.
