How did you find Christianity Oasis?

Amen to all the wonderful and Godly testimonies.

I will try to make mine short and sweet . Like so many people, I stumbled upon this website almost a month ago, when I was lonely and distressed and sort of searching for some spiritual guidance and counseling online since I spend alot of "me" time so that I can hear from the Lord for the answers I am searching for.

First time I logged on, I was overwhelmed by the info that I saw but it all looked promising, so i decided to jump into the chat room instead and start from there and i must say that the very warm welcome, kind and Godly people i met encouraged me to visit this site some more and ever since i have been exploring little by little, subject by subject and I must say I love it, just about everything about CO is resourceful and a blessing such that I want to come back again and again.

I bless God for Christianity Oasis Admin team for making it possible for Gods children to fellowship in here and find encouragement/love and support through this site and all the useful and Godly messages.

I found Christianity Oasis searching on my search engine for a online christian counselor i have been praying for a long time to get free from past abuse issues for a long time i came across the Quest from the blest from incest and requested to talk to some one thru emails for the abuse i went throught i then was introduced to my new Sister Pine and we started talking to each other through email,
I had a hard time setting up an account with this site almost gave up i tryed the door again and it opened up and now i meet all you other people
who have been a great encouragemnet in my life and in helping me to heal iam glad our paths crossed love you all.

I hope I can write this, it was 20 days after the worst day of my life.
I had destroyed my marriage of 13+ years and was at rock bottom
I was thinking stupid thoughts hating myself and this world and was begging and I mean outright screaming to God for Him to take me I didn't want to be here anymore!! I am so thankful suicide is a sin because that is all that stopped me even my kids memories wouldn't do it actually if nothing else that was pushing it more. But I wanted to make any and every effort to fix what I destroyed so at this time I was seeing 2 pastors and couldn't afford counseling so I did a search for free online counseling and my Lord sent me here I done the counseling steps and went through some of the other counseling that pertained to my nightmare and was feeling pretty good BUT satan stepped back in and tried once again to lead me away by me going back to my old ways after my wife made it clear she did not want to try and save our marriage BUT the Lord reached out and grabbed me again now I'm still stumbling but I have my eyes and mind set on the Lord and I have come back to my Oasis family and soon plan to restart the steps.
this site is a blessing and I don't want to think where I would be if I didn't have the encouragement that I have received on here, skrubby, mlg, pine, bluebird,momof3,lizzie,realtmg,cubby,tam,wisperingsprings and I'm sure I missed a few but you know who you are, I am very blessed to have been brought here by our Lord and met you ALL!!

Greetings from Our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am really going through so much right now and I am getting frustrated and down because I do not understand how to get in the different forums and chats. My son told me his gay recently. My husband is not a true believer. He is abusive. I am going to leave him real soon with God's help and strength. My niece is acting crazy and my mother just had surgery. they are all pulling on me and all I can do is pray. I need time to myself but think that I am being so selfish. please show me how to communicate online in Christianity oasis. My soul would be so full of gratitude. I know this is sort of old, but I want to tell at least someone about how I found christianity oasis. On September 23, early in the morning, (about six in the morning), I finally tried to fall asleep after being up all night. I was so tired, that I fell into that state where I was awake but I could not move. It was a normal occurence for me, but I still panicked, though not as much. As I was trying to think of good thoughts and trying to move, I suddenly feel extreme fear and dread. All of a sudden, I hear a voice yell, "Come Here!". I tried to get out of it, and came close to passing out, but I finally was able to move again. Too scared to fall asleep again, I turn on a sermon on tv. I think it was fredrick price talking about being ordained. I was curious, so I went online on my phone, and searched online what being ordained was. I got the definition of it from christianity oasis, and decided to join. After I set my account up, I fell asleep for 3 hours, (it was about 8 in the morning now), and at 11 I checked my gmail and saw that my account was registered. =)
