Change is good! a testimony

Hey guys,I think its time I wrote my testimony. I was born into a family wih a mother and father happily married and an older brother. Growing up my brother and I always went to church and sunday school. All was well till I hit 7th grade,I guess somewhere between 5th and 6th grade I stoped caring about church and only went because my mom made me.Late in the 7th grade year I met an forign exchance student who became like a brother to me. He eventually had to go back to his native country,when he did I got really depressed.After a while things built up,as did my lack of faith and I began self harming. After a few moths of that a close friend of mine died and I decided to give up self harming because I relised that it wasnt good.i relapsed and cursed Gods name. A few weeks later was my friend's funeral I rembered at youth event i was invited to at the same church and decided to give God another try at the church's youth group.The whole car ride to the church I was fliping out,I considered myself pretty much an aitheist.When I walked in the door I was greeted by a tattoed man with long hair,he introduced himself as the youth leader.We played a few games then had the lesson,it was kinda fun so I decided to go again. I went to the youth group for a few months then I reveled to the youth leader I was strugling with alot. He helped me through some tempting times. After continuing to go to youth group (still strugling with self harming)and going to a church camp I relised that God does exist and He loves me alot.
