A testimony to a mans integrity

There's this man I know....he has a bunch of boys that are hard workers. A newspaper stand nearby wanted to hire a couple of the boys to deliver papers. The older one to run the kitchen.

The dad said SURE! After all three jobs for three kids! Imagine if you will trying to help one child find a job, and here he's got half a dozen kids to find a job for. Instantly he had 1/2 his kids employed!

In the conversation between the dad and the owner of the stand the dad also added, "EXCEPT..."

Wow! someone offers 3 of your kids a job and you say except????????

Jobs are hard to come by. He's in need of not one but six for six kids!

He said, "EXCEPT the magazines with the brown paper covers have to go."

You see, this newspaper stand had a lot of magazines they sold as well and some were not what we want our young boys to be looking at.

He told the owner to get rid of that type of magazine. To take them off the shelf and his boys could work there.

I couldn't help but smile and the integrity and the strength to stand up and choose what is right. :) He was willing to loose 3 jobs for 3 kids over this.

The owner.......well the questionable magazines are no longer sold there.

The three boys......have been working hard at the newspaper stand for a few years now.

Is that not cool???? *Clap*

I'm rather proud to call this man my brother.
