Recent lessons/realizations

[Hope]

I just wanted to share some recent life lessons.... I have wandered after at one time being on fire for the Lord. Some things i have learned recently and feel led to share.....
1. As a new Christian most are on fire and wish to share
2. Life steps in at some point and I lost sight of what was most precious.
3. Life is full of obstacles and hard times (most were of my own choosing)
4. No matter how fall we fall, God NEVER lets go.
5. I am reminded that when life's storms come (and they WILL come for all of us) keep your eyes on Jesus. I am reminded of the storm and Jesus came walking on the water to the disciples and Paul ( or maybe Peter sorry my memory fails at the moment) cried out and said if it is really you let me come to you. Jesus said come. As long as he kept his eyes on Jesus he was able to walk towards Jesus, as soon as he took his eyes off Jesus he began to sink and cried out and Jesus reached down and pulled him back out of the stormy water........... that hit home for me tonight as i realize now that is what i did with poor choices... i took my eyes off Jesus....

Life generally is hard and lots gets in the way of me being able to see God at work... i think perhaps it will be used to test me and purify me and help mold me into the person God has intended for me to be all this time...

This was a refreshing revelation and i had to get up and share
