Wow ... I have had a lot to think about since I have started on this AWESOME site of Christianity Oasis. I have no doubt that the LORD has been in all of this and will be GLORIFIED with new ideas in the future.
Since October 2010 I have been on quite some journey. One that I will always remember. It was when I changed my whole thinking on the HOLY SPIRIT. It was after I read the story of how Christianity Oasis got started. What a story!!!
If you are reading this and you haven't read it.. STOP what your doing and do it NOW! I still say it needs to be put into a MOVIE... it would make LOTS of money and GET the story out that we all need to hear. Go to: THE SPIRIT WITHIN AND THE BEAST WITHOUT!
To get back where I was...
I will give a little background of my life as a Christian. I have been in church since 1979. My husband and I were both saved and started attending a Church of God. The preacher was everything you could ask for... not only did he preach against SIN but his life was always one you could look at and KNOW if he preached against it... he didn't do it! You don't find too many of those anymore. Not like there should be anyway! 
During the years of attending there... satan of course has to get his foot in the door and try to ruin things. Let's just say... there were times I let satan not only get his foot in the door... I pulled up a chair and had coffee with him too...
During those coffee breaks I did things I never thought I would do.... but through GOD'S AMAZING GRACE... he brought me back from destroying my life and others too. 
Now to talk about the Holy Spirit and what I was taught. We didn't speak in tongues but our Pastor never condemned anyone who did. But we were definitely a praying church. The Spirit was truly there and with this man for sure. I always thought that the HOLY SPIRIT meant speaking in tongues, and unless you spoke in tongues, you didn't have the HOLY SPIRIT in you. Did I ever get a surprise ...
I did know that the HOLY SPIRIT can dwell where you are... but I thought that meant ... like when we were gathered together in church or prayer that He was in the room filling it with His presence. Can you imagine when I learned that the HOLY SPIRIT has been in me all this time, what I felt??? 
I knew that I had a conscience and knew deep down that it was Jesus speaking to me. I didn't know it was the HOLY SPIRIT HIMSELF!!!
So, since I have realized this... my life has not been the same!!!
Let me tell you a cute story... I am living with my daughter & her 2 kids, g-daughter-14, g-son-8.
The other day I was on my way to pick them up from school. I always pick him up first and then my g-daughter. I'm trying to help the kids see how living with the Holy Spirit daily is very important, and that He should be your best friend. On the way to get my g-daughter I said ... Jacob when your sister gets here the Holy Spirit will have to sit in the back seat with you, cuz he is in the front seat right now. He thought that was cool. So, when we picked up his sister, and a little time had passed, he said "Grandma, guess what? (giggling) I just threw my backpack on the Holy Spirits lap!" 
Oh.. well... at least he believed me when I told him he was in the back sit now... Kids... gotta love em! 
So.. now my journey to get CLOSER to the Holy Spirit begins. I am talking to Him daily and asking Him always to be with me. It's amazing how having Him with me now has made me open my eyes to new ideas & things... I can't wait to get up every morning just to greet Him.
I'm going to NOT try and write a BOOK every time I write in my daily journal on here...
But, it really is hard not to be excited and just talk and talk about so many good things in my life.... 
Thank You Holy Spirit for being so PATIENT with me all this time, and waiting on me to realize how important you really are! You truly are a gentleman! I can't wait for tomorrow to find out more about you!
