15 Degrees, warm spell lol
Up before sunrise.
Headed to church to plow snow.
Another 6 inches of snow.
What did I volunteer for!
We've gotten more snow this year than years past, what did I get myself into? lol

Notes from yesterday had a great time at church.
Thinking leadership is headed in the right direction with this new leadership program they are working on. *Pray*

Day off work. Slept in today 6:30a.m. *Whistle*
Zero degrees outside.
Told Pine to make coffee and I'd be out to have coffee with her in a bit.
Phone rang. It was the school. Thought son was sick or they needed me to drive a school bus. Son forgot gym shoes.
Phone rang 20 seconds later. Pine answers phone. I hear her say, "Yes he is here." I'm thinking uh oh, who is it this time. I didn't recognize the number.
Babys mom can't get her vehicle started.
Put on rescue boots.
Grabs a cup of coffee.
Helps babies mom get vehicle started, takes son gym shoes.
Helps Pine with baby.
Gets baby back out of bed cause a thumping from the drier wakes him up.
Pines cell phone which was left in kids pants pocket no longer works. It didn't make it through the wash.
I should of just let Pine disconnect her phone when she said she didn't need it anymore instead of having her wash it so now I have to have it disconnected cause it doesn't work.
Got to go shovel moms roof, skylight is leaking from the snow build up.

EXERCISES FOR PEOPLE OVER 40

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can.

Try to reach a full minute, and then relax. Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks. Then try 50-lb. potato sacks and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level). After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks *NehneenehNeeBooBoo*

sometimes it just dont make since y somepeople can keep making the same goofs or just dont care like I do *Whistle*
had freezin rain all day but the salt trucks did there job *ThumbsUp*

- 9 in the a.m.
Brrrrrrrrr

Have to lol at my self
We had a wild game dinner at church for the men and boys
It was good. Iron ate skunk dogs. lol (hot dogs)
How boring *Doh* all that good food and all he ate was hot dogs

Had been talking to pine about not going to the dinner. I knew the guest speaker when we were younger lol We butted heads to much. We were to much alike. *Whistle*

We both had this prob. We both had a desire to win at ball games. We were both very competitive. That bring me to my 1 st point

I started a church softball league to reach out to all the church people and bring all the christians together in the area for a friendly NON competitive game. lol Yeah right!

We went to the peeps who organized the softball fields and ask if they had a open day. They did. Fridays. Thats all we wanted was one day a week.

They looked at me and said it will never work for they where having troubles putting a mens slowpitch city league together. They where down to 4 teams. Not much of a league. But they gave us friday nights and said good luck.

that was 18 years ago
the 1st year we had 12 teams lol
but that did not bring everyone together like i wanted.
to much competitiveness

The league is still going, but have not played in the last few years. With the kids and all. The churchleague is still running stronger than the city league.

Even though i started this fun game to play all together it did not get me any closer to other church peeps :(

Back to Sunday. I was telling pine don't want to go listen to this guy speaking at the wild game dinner. But the boys wanted to go and all that food sounded good.

So off to church we went. Said prayer and we all got in line to eat. Monkey and his friend ran like little kids to the front of the line.
Iron and i got in the middle or so. When we found monkey he was way in the back at a table all by himself. Except a friend with no dad there.
So like a good dad I went to sit with him and his friend who didn't have a dad there, instead of setting with my buddies.

As we are eating the speaker told his boy lets go sit by rusty. That's me. :) This was the guy I was trying to avoid. Now I have to set beside him.
rofl

The speaker knew other people there too, but God knew where to set him down. By the end of the night I realized I had let years of competition keep me from being friends with this christian brother.
And I found out I did need to hear what he had to say. lol What he said was a confirmation of what I felt the Lord had been trying to tell me.

thank u Jesus
