Welcome back my friend!
Trust has been established!
But that [seed] on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the Word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
A true friend is a gift of God.
Well, my friend, here we are on the last Step of the My Brother's Keeper program! If you look back on the last 14 days, you can feel that change has certainly begun. A miracle is unfolding inside of you. You've demonstrated patience and now you will bring forth even more fruit for the Lord! The faith within you is growing, and you can feel the warmth of hope beaming down from heaven upon you.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
I'm so proud of you that you followed through with such dedication and ambition. Your Father knows your heartfelt desire to continue to humbly serve Him with each new day that He blesses you with.
Congratulations on your achievement!
This is what Moses said to the children of Israel, just before they went into the Promised Land.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be
in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,
and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when
thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou
risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and
they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
One of the gifts that God has given you is the determination to carry on the traditions that He told us to live by. He said we should teach them to our children and talk about His ways when we sit in our houses and when we walk down the street and when we lie down to sleep and when we wake up. The world has forgotten that, but you are the hope of the future.
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
Through this program, you've learned how to guide the sheep of the world on the right path ... Following the Way of Jesus. You are today's disciples, with a mission to accomplish, and even though Moses spoke the words you read above nearly 3500 years ago, you are pioneers of the plan that God gave to Him for all of us. You've made a choice to take the gifts that your Father has generously given to you through His Holy Spirit and share them with His people, your spiritual brothers and sisters. You're one of the called, who respect God's Word enough to honor it, no matter how long ago it was spoken, or how drastically the world has changed since. You've made the choice to represent Jesus and taken the responsibility to be your brother's keeper.
This isn't the end of the program, but the beginning of your ministry to become a counselor ... A shepherd for others. You're making your first few ripples, which will make more, and more, more, more, more, more and more.
You're taking the image of God, and revealing it to everyone who looks at you. You're building a foundation in Truth, which is something that can never be taken from you, and you're making a difference in the world. It's a better place because of you.
You're the leaders of the future. You're the hope of the world, to remain righteous, and godly, and wholesome, and strong.
You should feel a great anticipation inside of you as you complete this program, because now you get to choose how earnest you are to put it into action. Your attitude is everything. Remember, the Holy Spirit will guide you as long as you're willing to allow Him to.
There will be a weekly meeting for all of you who have completed the My Brother's Keeper program, to share your thoughts, concerns, comments, questions, and suggestions with the Teen Leaders. You can find the dates and times on the Calendar of Events.If you have completed this program at a time where there are no participants there, I encourage you to step up and lead! Get it started again! It's a new challenge!
Finish the Race Bible Challenge
All you have to do now, is get out your charts, go into the chat room and represent your Jesus and He will guide your first three sheep to you.
I would like to suggest that you re-read the program from the beginning over the month or so again. Of course you need not follow the one day at a time procedure as you are merely building on the foundation. It won't take you as long, because you are familiar with it now, but you will find that you missed some things the first time, or some things that you may not have completely understood, you will understand the second time through.
