Christ as the Living Word of God

John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

Jesus Christ is the living Word of almighty God Himself. He is God, always was, and always will be. He never changes. He spoke the entire creation into being with the mere words of His mouth. He was also the Word of God incarnated into human form, so that He could bring redemption and enlightenment to His people when they rebelled and transgressed the commandments.

The Lord established both the heavens and the earth merely by speaking them into existence. He created all life forms with His very own words spoken in power and authority. He had confidence that what He uttered would actually come into being. His infinite wisdom told Him what to speak and when to speak it, so there was peace, order and stability in all that He envisioned.

The entire universe resulted from God's fathomless imagination and spoken words. He had a master plan to fill the void and darkness that surrounded Him with an environment that was teeming with life and vitality. The heavens He created to be His abode, and He filled them with celestial beings called angels, but the earth was fashioned to be the dwelling of His masterpiece.

Psalm 148:5-6 "Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass."

God created man in His very own image and likeness to be His companion for all of eternity. We are the highlight of His design genius. We are spirit beings in human form that resemble our Creator in every way. We have His divine attributes and characteristics inherent in each of us. Man is a spirit that has a soul (comprised of a mind, will and emotions) and lives in a body.

The first man was formed from the dust of the earth and placed in a literal paradise in the Garden of Eden. The Lord gave him a mate, and assigned Adam and Eve authority over all of creation. He told them to be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth with all good things. Human beings were originally meant to live forever in an intimate relationship with almighty God Himself.

However, the first man and woman transgressed God's command to avoid one specific tree. They were tempted of Satan, a fallen angel, and ate of its fruit even though the Lord had specifically forbidden that. As a result, they lost their birthright; were banished from paradise; and forfeited dominion ever the earth to the devil. They were sentenced to spiritual and physical death.

Although our progenitors were surely contrite, the Lord could do nothing to reverse their circumstances. His favor was contingent on their total obedience. Adam and Eve lost God's trust when they sinned, and He was compelled to dole out appropriate punishment. The wages of sin are death – plain and simple. Any form of evil, wickedness or rebellion separates us from our God.

Psalm 36:3 "The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, [and] to do good."

Satan was extremely jealous of mankind, because the Lord gave us all of His attention and favor. He plotted and schemed until he knew that he had our ancestors at a disadvantage. He purposely misled the first woman into defying almighty God and she fell for his trap. She also convinced her husband that nothing bad would ever happen to either of them if they were disobedient.

The devil enticed Adam and Eve with flattering words that promised them that they would be like God if they ate the forbidden fruit. Unfortunately, they bought into his lies and deception, and were severely punished as a result. They were forced into hard labor to sustain themselves and banished from the Garden of Eden forever. They were defeated by iniquity and overcome with their sin.

The enemy continued his evil influence in the lives of their descendants, to the point that the Lord even had to destroy all of mankind in the floods of Noah's day. Men were committed to wickedness and deliberately rebelled against God. There was a division between man and His Creator that was never intended to be. However, the Lord had a perfect plan in place for the redemption of His people.

2Corinthians 5:19 "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."

He knew that men were frail and susceptible to temptation and sin, and that He would always be separated from them if things continued as they were. He would have to intervene on their behalf and take on their sin, as if it were His very own. There is no other way that anyone could be made righteous again. The penalty for sin is death, and it had to be paid by someone in its entirety.

The Lord sent the living Word of God – His only beloved Son, Jesus Christ – to this world to redeem all of mankind from their sin guilt and teach them His way of doing things. Christ was divine in all respects, but He voluntarily took on a human form, so that He could be like us in every way. He did not come here to condemn us, but rather, to save us from all our sins once and for all time.

Jesus took on all our evil and iniquity and the curse that went with it, and actually became sin for us. He suffered, died and was buried, so that we would not have to endure the same fate. He also rose again from the dead as the firstborn of many souls that would be made perfect. Because of His love and obedience, all of mankind was set free to inherit eternal life and all of its many benefits.

With His victory over sin, death and the grave, our Lord and Savior restored us to right standing with God, so that there is no longer a separation between us. He also took back all power and authority from Satan, the enemy of our souls. We have dominion over all things on the earth returned to us once again. We are more than conquerors through Christ, and we can rule and reign in this life.

Jesus Spoke the Words of God

Luke 4:2-4 "Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

Jesus was like us in every way. He was tempted of the devil and had to fast and pray to hear from the Father, so that He would be totally victorious. Satan used words of deception to persuade Jesus to exceed His earthly authority, but the Lord had a quick and ready response for him. He quoted the Holy Scriptures and invoked the inherent power in the Word of God.

Christ knew that His Father would not ever leave or forsake Him. He was convinced that all of His needs would be met in abundance. However, He also was obedient to the test that was posed to Him. He did not succumb to the temptation to take matters in His own hands and be baited by Satan. He used the Word of almighty God Himself as a weapon of spiritual warfare.

He defeated the enemy with divine power and authority and silenced all arguments. Jesus later made an open show of Satan at Calvary, and took back full dominion over the earth with His victory over sin, death and the grave. He gave it back to His followers who believe in Him and walk in His ways. We can now walk in divine power and authority through His efforts.

However, we need to learn to speak God's Word to defend ourselves against all temptation to sin, as well. There is inherent power and authority in the Word that dispels all darkness and defeats all iniquity. If we say what God says in all situations and circumstances, we will overcome the world, our flesh and the devil. We will rule and reign now in this life and for all eternity.

John 8:26 "I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him."

Jesus did not come to condemn mankind, but to redeem us from all iniquity and give us life in abundance to the overflow. He came to teach us God's ways and to share eternal truths with us, so that we could be victorious in this world and in the Kingdom to come. He only spoke what the Father told Him to say. His words were not His own. However, they were light and life to all those who heard them, and He was the greatest Teacher that the human race has ever known.

Even though He was divine, Jesus walked as a mere man among us. He laid down all of His deity when He came to this earth, and He had to receive God's wisdom and revelation to discharge all of His duties. The Lord was in constant communication with His Father; He only spoke and did what was told to Him. He was totally obedient to the Word of God and all of the commandments. The key to His overall success was His close relationship with almighty God Himself.

Christ is our role model for righteousness and godliness. If we imitate His laid down life and walk in love and obedience, we will change our world and everyone in it. We must carefully wield the Word of God, as He did, and be certain that we are accurate in sharing it with others. It has the power to set men free to eternal life, and to instruct them how to achieve true holiness in their walk with God. The Scriptures are our final authority in all matters that relate to the truth.

We must share the Word with others as the Lord directs us. We will preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in power and authority, so that men can be set free. No one will perish for lack of knowledge in the truth. We will make the gift of eternal life available to every race, tongue and nation of the world. If we speak what God says, we will be totally successful in all that we do. No righteous man, woman or child will be denied entry into His everlasting Kingdom.

John 12:47-50 "And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."

The Word of God is light and life to all who hear it. Christ was extremely careful to relay God's exact words, so that there would be no misunderstanding or defilement of the truth. Even so, many doubted His teaching and corrupted what He had to say. They challenged the fact that He was indeed sent by God to this earth to save mankind from destruction. They scorned and ridiculed Him for speaking the truth in power and authority that comes only from God Himself.

However, Christ was an example of total and perfect obedience. He refused to be caught off guard and speak in His own strength or utter human wisdom. He only relayed what God wanted men to hear, precisely when and how the Father wanted it done. Jesus was effective in His ministry because He refused to compromise God's Word and dilute its power. He knew that no word of God returns to Him void, and that it succeeds in everything that it was sent to accomplish.

Jesus was the living Word of God, sent to this earth to redeem all of mankind and instruct them in righteousness and godliness. He refused to be played out of position or be impeded in His mission. He steadfastly conveyed the truth, and did all that He could to persuade men to repent and be saved. He was eminently successful because He was diligent to speak God's Word in its entirety. He gave the Word of God all the deference and respect that it so rightly deserves.

We must do likewise if we wish to enjoy eternal life and all of its many benefits. The Word of almighty God Himself will ultimately judge us and determine our righteousness. God's Word is His will for us; it represents His perfect moral standards for our lives. We cannot be ignorant or disobedient to the Word of God and escape reprisal. If we obey all the commandments and walk in love as we have been instructed, we will remain in right standing with God for all of eternity.

God's Words Are Spirit and Life

John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life."

Our God is a tri-part being – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are one and the same divine entity with three separate personalities. The Father is the Creator of all spirits and His Son, Jesus Christ, is the Word of God made man. His Holy Spirit is imparted to men that ask for the baptism in the Spirit and is the source of all wisdom and truth. Whatever God speaks represents His Spirit and is life to all who hear it.

No man can understand the Word of almighty God except by the power of the Holy Spirit. Spiritual matters are discerned by the spirit of a man, not his mind and intellect. We should always pray and ask the Lord for wisdom and revelation in His Word. We will be truly amazed at all that it reveals to us. It will give us practical advice we can apply to our lives, as well as insight into the deeper mysteries of our faith.

Christ promised us that the Holy Spirit of God would be sent to us once He departed the earth realm to be reunited with His Father. We are not alone in this world. We have the Holy Spirit as our Comforter and Counselor. He convicts us of all sin and leads and guides us into all righteousness. He reveals God's will on this earth and imparts spiritual gifts to us that enable us to serve God and one another in genuine power.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is not automatic for new believers, as some may think that it is. We have to pray and specifically ask God to impart His Spirit to us. We will usually be given the gift of spiritual tongues, so we can communicate with God direct, human spirit to His Spirit. We may also receive words of wisdom or knowledge, prophecy, healing and miracle working as gifts of the same Holy Spirit of God.

John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."

This is the very same Spirit that Jesus operated in when He came to this earth. The Holy Spirit is totally obedient to the Father and disciplined to speak only what almighty God Himself wants said. He never speaks anything contrary to the written Word of God in the Scriptures. The Bible will always be our final authority to test whether or not something is truly from God.

The Holy Spirit brings gifts to men that enable them to develop divine attributes and characteristics, so that they can serve God and one another in awesome power and authority. He reveals God's deep secrets to us and even gives us a look at the future. He imparts qualities to us called spiritual fruit that will allow us to develop a much closer relationship with almighty God Himself.

These spiritual fruit were evidenced in the life of Jesus Christ, and we can develop them to the point that we reach full spiritual maturity just as He did when He walked the earth. Our lives will change as never before. Peace, love, joy, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance and longsuffering will all manifest in us, once we are baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit of God.

With privilege comes a corresponding responsibility. We have to imitate the laid down life of Jesus, so that we can embrace our divine destinies. We have been given a sacred charge; the fate of all mankind lies in the balance. If we are diligent to speak the uncompromised Word of God Himself, we will be able to set men free to receive the gift of eternal life and all of its blessings.

The Unpardonable Sin

Matthew 12:32 "And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come."

No man can speak the Word of God except by the power of His Holy Spirit. We should reverence the Holy Spirit just as we do our heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. The manifestations of the Spirit are significant and they can revolutionize our lives. Once we have tasted of the powers of the world to come, we should never trivialize them or take them for granted.

Even though Christ came to this earth to save all of mankind from sin and evil once and for all, it is still possible for men to commit an unpardonable sin against almighty God. We may perhaps doubt Jesus Christ and all that He did for us, but if we doubt or blaspheme His Holy Spirit, we will in no way be held innocent. His Spirit is life to our mortal bodies and souls.

Our God insists on deference and respect from us at all times. We must have a healthy fear of the Lord or suffer dire consequences. We are not now, nor will we ever be, equal with almighty God. We are His beloved children only if we walk in His ways and give His Word the preeminence that it deserves. So too, we must not grieve or quench His Holy Spirit in any way.

We cannot ever speak against God's Spirit without total accountability. We will all be judged for our works in the flesh one day very soon. The Lord will never overlook any sin against His Holy Spirit. We will incur spiritual and physical death for this serious transgression. The Lord will expel us from His holy presence and cast us into the eternal lake of fire for all time.

The Holy Spirit Bears Witness to the Word of God

1John 5:6-9 "This is he that came by water and blood, [even] Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son."

Christ died to redeem all of mankind from all our iniquity once and for all time. There is no sin – past, present or future – that is not washed clean and remitted by His sacrifice for us. If we have faith in Him, we are made the righteousness of God. Because of His perfect obedience to God's word of reconciliation, we are set free to inherit eternal life and all its many blessings.

It is critical that we be baptized with water and the Holy Spirit when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Water baptism signifies that we are dead to all of our sin and made alive again by the Blood of Jesus Christ, the living Word of God. The Holy Spirit bears witness to our spirits that Christ is indeed the Son of God and the sole Redeemer from all of our transgression.

The Word of God never lies and the Father Himself testifies to the authenticity of His Son. We can rely on the fact that our salvation is complete, and that we are no longer subject to death as a penalty for all of our sins. Christ's shed Blood attests to our innocence and brings us total righteousness through our faith in Him. We should no longer have sin consciousness of any kind.

There is no reason why we should ever feel guilty, ashamed or condemned now that we have been born again. We can approach the throne of grace with any need and know, for a fact, that it will be granted to us. When our heavenly Father looks at us, He sees the righteousness of Jesus Christ Himself. He was the firstborn of many brethren and serves as our perfect role model.

1Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."

We have been redeemed from the curse and translated into the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There is nothing additional that we have to do to be saved. We are made totally righteous through our faith, and have become joint-heirs with Jesus to all of His promises. However, we must be diligent to obey all the commandments and walk in love, just as Christ taught.

Once we are born again, our lives change for the better, both spiritually and temporally. Our minds are renewed in the truth and our behavior is totally transformed until it becomes godly. We grow and develop into full maturity as the sons and daughters of almighty God. Our relationship with Him deepens, so that we begin to think like He thinks, plus say and do what He instructs.

If we pray and ask the Holy Spirit to come to us, we will be empowered to serve the Lord in our eternal callings. He will fill us with all spiritual fruit, so that we imitate the very life of Christ Himself. We will have peace, faith, hope and joy with which to serve the Lord and His people. We will be good and gentle, meek and temperate, and minister with all longsuffering and patience.

Our lives will change as never before and we will be able to overcome the world, our flesh and the devil. We will be totally victorious in this life and in the Kingdom to come. We will embrace our divine destinies willingly and effectively. We will share our faith with all of mankind and revolutionize the entire world. Nothing will be impossible to us if we walk in the Holy Spirit of God.

John 14:10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

Jesus Christ is our role model for righteousness and godliness. He laid down His deity when He walked on the earth, yet He was perfect and sinless before God in all that He thought, said and did. He was in constant communication with the Father and only spoke words that He was instructed to speak. He never operated in His own authority. The Holy Spirit in Him did the works.

We must learn to function in the same way as we live out our divine destinies and serve the Lord. We are called to be the Body of Christ Himself on the earth. He has promised us that we will do the very works that He did and even greater works, since He has gone to be with His Father. We will speak the Word of God with full power and authority under the unction of His Holy Spirit.

The Gospel will be preached to all the nations of the world, and the full number of souls will be gathered in the end-time harvest. No righteous man, woman or child will be denied the blessings of eternal life. Our own faith-based words that line up with the Word of God will work miracles. The Lord will have us heal the sick, cast out demons and even raise the dead back to life once again.

We will challenge all world governments to make certain that they implement the express will of God. We will correct all social injustice and bring peace to the earth, so that all of mankind is treated with dignity and respect. We will speak to all of creation and make certain that it lines up with the Word of God. There will be no more devastation and destruction of the earth and its creatures.

Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

Jesus taught us that our words that line up with God's Word have genuine power to take dominion over the earth and all of its inhabitants. This world will soon pass away and be replaced with the everlasting Kingdom of God. Heaven itself will be united with the earth and become the dwelling place of almighty God Himself. All things as we know them will disappear, but the Word of God will endure forever.

The Lord, Jesus Christ, will judge all of mankind to determine who among us are righteous and entitled to spend all of eternity with Him. With words inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, He will wreak vengeance on all of His enemies and reward those who have been faithful to Him. He will speak judgment on Satan and all his minions and banish them to the abyss; all the wicked will be sentenced to the lake of fire.

Only those who believe in Jesus' name and are uncompromisingly righteous will enter into the Kingdom of God. It will be heaven on the earth for all of us. The Lord will actually come and take up residence with His people. We will have endless blessings and unlimited prosperity. No evil will ever harm or defile us ever again. Christ's Kingdom will be safe and secure, and bring us joy and freedom for all of eternity.

The Word is Not for Everyone

John 8:43-47 "Why do ye not understand my speech? [even] because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell [you] the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear [them] not, because ye are not of God."

Like attracts like, and the Word of God is spiritually discerned only by those who have God's Spirit resident within them. We must face facts. There are children of God and children of the devil in this world. They are known by their fruits. Those who are of God, willingly embrace His words, yet those who are committed to evil will reject them.

Jesus had the ability, through the Holy Spirit of God, to discern all spirits to see whether or not they were of God or of the devil. He did not waste His time on those who would ultimately reject Him. He only spoke plainly to those who were desirous of the truth, and He made certain that they understood His words as the very Word of almighty God Himself.

To the masses Christ spoke only in parables, so that the unbelievers would not challenge Him and confuse those who were sincere in their desire for the truth. He knew that the rebellious could have an adverse influence on those who were truly contrite and eager for God's Word. He disguised His words, so that only the pure in heart would understand Him.

Matthew 13:10-13 "And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."

Christ's parables were brilliant in their content and purpose. They succeeded in all respects. They kept the critics at bay, yet were comprehended by those who had a real heart for God. Jesus always followed up His teaching with more thorough elaboration to those who were His true disciples. He explained things fully to them and shared all that He could about the Kingdom of God.

The Lord was sent to those who were lost and forsaken, and He had a deep love for all men. He simply knew who would receive His words and who would reject them. He did not force anyone to hear Him or believe what He spoke. He used gentle persuasion and spiritual conviction to attract His followers. All those who were destined to believe in Him were, in fact, saved.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ ultimately went out to all the tongues, races and nations of the world through His faithful disciples. They learned how to speak the Word of God with genuine power and authority and many were saved through their evangelistic efforts. The Gospel is still being preached with fervor and conviction, so that all men have an opportunity to hear the truth.

We speak God's Word in all of its power, knowing that it will not return to Him void. The good news of the Kingdom of God has to be shared with all of mankind. It is not the Lord's desire that any man perishes for lack of knowledge. We must be extremely diligent to spread our faith exactly as the Lord dictates. The fate of the entire world depends on our willingness and obedience.

Mark 7:13 "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."

The Gospel of Jesus Christ suffers contamination today, yet wise men are prudent not to alter the Word of God and water down its message. If we share what God says on any given subject, we must be diligent to be accurate in our teaching. The lives of many hang in the balance, and only the God-given truth will set them free. The Word of God stands alone in its power and authority. Man's wisdom is only a sham and a pretense that will deceive and entrap those who rely on it.

The wisdom of God is timeless and recorded, so that all may partake freely of it in the Holy Bible. The words of Christ Himself are able to set us free and enable us to reign in this world and in the Kingdom to come. They can forgive men their sins and give them faith to overcome all evil and temptation. They inspire, encourage and empower us, so that we can become righteous and godly in all that we think, say and do. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the living Word of God.

It is sharper than any two-edged sword that can divide between spirit and soul. It teaches us what is of man and what proceeds straight from the mouth of God. It separates divine truth from the fictitious traditions of men. Those who know the Word of God and correctly share it with others will have eternal rewards for their faithfulness and devotion. They will be appointed kings and priests of God; judge both men and angels; and rule and reign with Christ over all the nations.

The Word of God Will Return to the Earth

Isaiah 45:22-23 "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear."

Our Lord and Savior deserves all of our devotion and respect. He was obedient unto death on our behalf, yet He rose again from the dead to total victory in this world. He has gone to be with His Father, but He has given us a divine commission to act in His stead. We are to share His words in the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and set men free to eternal life, as we have been.

We have divine destinies much like that of Christ Himself. We are to pick up His ministry on the earth until He returns to us. We must preach the good news of Jesus Christ, heal the sick and cast out demons in His name. We will even raise the dead back to life with faith-based words like those of almighty God. There is nothing that will be impossible to us as we serve the Lord.

Very soon now, our Redeemer will come back to this earth to set up His everlasting Kingdom. Every knee will bow and every tongue proclaim that "Jesus Christ is Lord over all of creation." He will destroy all evil on the face of the earth and judge all men and even angels. He will banish Satan and his minions to the bottomless pit, and punish all wrongdoers in the eternal lake of fire.

He will rule and reign as a righteous King with a rod of iron. No defilement or contamination of any kind will come near us. He will take vengeance on all our enemies and vindicate us for all time. If we have been faithful to serve Him, we will have generous rewards. He will share His very own honor and glory with us, and we will be appointed kings and priests to rule with Him.

Hebrews 12:25-29 "See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape], if we turn away from him that [speaketh] from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this [word], Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God [is] a consuming fire."

The words of Jesus Christ are ageless and timeless. They are powerful to save men's souls from utter destruction and bring them all the blessings of eternal life. He is calling out to each and every one of us right now and persuading us in the truth. He is shaking up both heaven and earth with His words, so that no one perishes for lack of knowledge in the Word of God.

We must believe that He was indeed the Son of God, who was sent to the earth to redeem us from all of our sins. We should repent from the heart and be baptized in His name, so that we can receive the gift of eternal life in the everlasting Kingdom of God. We should also walk in unequivocal love and total obedience to Him, so our righteousness is never in question.

Our behavior must always be above and beyond reproach, so that we can be godly role models to others who are still lost in darkness, deception, and bondage to sin and evil. We should demonstrate the very love, mercy and compassion of almighty God Himself to all those we meet. They will know us as Christians because of our genuine love for God and for all of mankind.

The Word of almighty God Himself will separate the wheat from the chaff among us. His words are powerful for disclosing all darkness and deception. If we adhere to the Word and obey all of its precepts, we will be found righteous and eligible to spend all of eternity with Him. However, if we disobey the truth and rebel against the Word of God, we will perish for all time.

John 15:14-16 "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

We must keep all of the commandments and fulfill the will of our heavenly Father in all things. Jesus Christ expects us to embrace our divine destinies and share our faith with others, so that they can also be saved as we have been. We will accept His divine commission and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to every race, tongue and nation in all of its power and authority.

We will share our faith with every man, woman and child, so that everyone has an opportunity to repent, be converted and baptized in Jesus' name. We will spread the good news of the Kingdom of God and see miracles, signs and wonders attest to our faith. We will heal the sick of all their afflictions, cast out demons that keep men in bondage to sin and even raise the dead back to life.

All the world governments will be challenged to make certain that they line up with the Word of God. We will eliminate all social unrest; eradicate war, violence and conflict; abolish poverty and lack. All men will be treated with fairness, dignity and respect. There will finally be peace and abundance on the earth, and God's express will for mankind will prevail on earth as it is in heaven.

Anything that we require to fulfill our divine commission will be freely given to us. All we must do is ask the Father and He will provide all that we need to serve Him and His people. We will have legions of ministering angels to support our efforts. We will overcome all evil with good, and take back the entire earth for the Kingdom of God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

John 12:47-48 "And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."

We will demonstrate the love, mercy and compassion of almighty God to all of creation. The future of this world and the fate of all mankind will be changed through our efforts. We will make the Word of God available to all those who desire to repent and be saved. We will establish peace, order and stability on this earth, and prepare the hearts of all men to receive Jesus Christ as their righteous Judge and just King.

No righteous man, woman or child will ever be denied entry into the Kingdom of God with all of its many benefits. It will be a veritable paradise on the earth for both God and man for all eternity. Only those who adamantly refuse to believe the truth in the Word of God will be rejected. The rebellious will be eternally condemned to the lake of fire with all wrongdoers, where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Very soon now, Christ will return to this earth to receive His everlasting Kingdom. He will judge all men and even angels by the Word of almighty God Himself. He will not be persuaded to lower His perfect, impeccable standards for any of us, nor will we be given second chances to get it right. We must believe the truth and walk in it now, if we wish to receive eternal life and all its blessings in the Kingdom of God.

All those who are found to be faithful will enter into the awesome presence of God for all of eternity. The Lord will meet all of our needs in abundance, even before we ask Him. He will take vengeance on all of our enemies and protect us from all evil. Our bodies will be changed to be like that of Christ Himself. We will live forever to see our children and their children, free of all pain and suffering, disease and death.

Revelation 19:13-16 "And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Jesus Christ is the living Word of almighty God – the King of kings and Lord of lords that will rule and reign over the entire earth for all of eternity in the everlasting Kingdom of God. He will soon return with an army of angelic hosts that will assist Him in ridding all evil off the face of the earth. There will be no more death and destruction, war and conflict, sin and evil to contend with any longer.

Christ will take vengeance on all of His enemies and destroy all the ungodly in the wrath of His coming. He will banish Satan and all his minions to the bottomless pit and expel all evildoers to the eternal lake of fire. There will be no wickedness or defilement left to contaminate our God and His people. We will have total safety and security, peace and prosperity, joy and freedom in His Kingdom.

Our heavenly Father will actually come and dwell with us on His holy mountain outside the city of New Jerusalem. There will no longer be a separation between God and man ever again. We will worship Him in Spirit and in truth and be reconciled to Him as His very own sons and daughters. We will live forever in health and vitality and enjoy all the many resources that the vast universe has to offer.

Life in the Kingdom of God will be idyllic – a literal paradise for all of us who dwell there. Men will fellowship as brothers and sisters in love and unity, or be expelled from the Kingdom for all of eternity. All of us will be righteous and godly, and worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth. We will celebrate all of His sabbaths and feast days with joy and gladness, praise and gratitude in our hearts.
