Welcome Back Friend!

Entering the State of Truth

Incest Results Teaching
Christian Incest Research Counseling

Hey, glad you are back. What an emotional day yesterday! Did you rest up enough? If so ... Let's get on the road.

This is pleasant little town we are rolling through right now. There's the town bank, the diner, the gas station. Oh ... And it appears we hit the one stop light in the town. Go figure.

Look at that school. All those kids playing outside. Isn't it weird how no matter what name our parents gave us when we were born, we always got a nickname or label of some sort in school? Some by our friends, some by our enemies. String bean, fatso, cool guy/girl, tough guy/girl, scaredy cat, chicken, loser, class clown, flirt, spike, speedster, dude, shortie, bum, popular one, smart one, dumb one, funny one, athletic one. Or nicknames showing you care about someone: precious, honey, darling, love, babe, baby.

In Deaf culture, you are given a "sign name" by a native signer of the Deaf community. Name signs are given in the Deaf community to identify individuals without having to always finger-spell their name. It is the first letter of your first name and its usually related with your personality (sweet, tough, shy, smart, etc.) or a physical trait such as a description of someone's hairstyle, a freckle on the cheek, large eyes, blushing cheeks, etc.

Even in the old days when people didn't have last names, to distinguish each other they would attach a characteristic or label to them. Alexander the Great, Doubting Thomas, Peter the Rock, John the Baptist.

Remember the seven dwarfs in the fairy tale "Snow White?" Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey, Happy, Bashful, Doc. (I doubt their parents named them that originally. 😉)

And the Care Bears? Oh yeah. They had "tummy symbols" or "belly badges." It was a picture on their stomach that showed a quality that stood out most about them. Cheer Bear had a rainbow on her tummy because she was very happy and perky and tried to cheer up anyone around her. Bedtime bear had a sleeping crescent on his tummy because he was always sleepy. Good Luck Bear is all about spreading good luck for everyone. His tummy symbol is a four leaf clover with heart shaped petals. Wish Bear helps try to make wishes come true. Her tummy symbol is a yellow smiling shooting star.

We just can't seem to get away from these labels!

Even after you graduate from college with certain degrees, you are supposed attached two or three little letters to the end of your name (Ph.D., R.N., M.A., M.Ed. LPN, etc.) to announce to the world what you know. It is now your "label."

That must be the town doctor's office we are passing by right now.

Speaking of doctors ... Don't doctors love to toss out those labels on us? Trying to convince us that we have a new label because of what happened to us?

The Balance
by August Burns Red

All these ideas keep swimming, running through your head.
Quick, we'll drown them with this fix.
The dose to stop your shaking, the one to silence your voice.
Just take it and you'll be fine.
Calm, relaxed, obedient, just the way we want you.
Your thoughts are ours to manipulate.
Your actions are ours to control.
Your opinions are a thing of the past,
so tilt your head back and swallow this.
You've become a real team player, a real class act.
No one cares about your identity. Open wide, here it comes.
This prescription makes you perfect.

Incest Results Outcome
Genuine Christian Incest Research

Have you ever noticed that when you begin to believe that you are getting sick, you immediately get worse? Think that is a coincidence? Have you ever worried so much for some one (or yourself) to the point where your stomach physically hurt for hours or days even? To the point where your back has knots in it? To the point where you have an anxiety or panic attack?

Bad Wisdom
by Suzanna Vegas

Mother the doctor knows something is wrong
Cause my body has strange information
He's looked in my eyes and knows I'm not a child
But he doesn't dare ask the right question

Mother my friends are no longer my friends
And the games we once played have no meaning
I've gone serious and shy and they can't figure why
So they've left me to my own daydreaming

What price to pay
For bad wisdom
What price to pay
For bad wisdom
Too young to know
Too much too soon
Bad wisdom
Bad wisdom

Mother you've taught me the laws are so fine
If I'm good that I will be protected
I've fallen through the crack and there's no getting back
And I'll never trust whoever gets elected

Mother your eyes have gone suddenly cold
And it wasn't what I was expecting
Once I did think that I'd find comfort there
And instead you've gone hard and suspecting

What price to pay
For bad wisdom
What price to pay
For bad wisdom
Too young to know
Too much too soon
Bad wisdom
Bad wisdom

Mother I'm cut at the root like a weed
Cause there's no one to hear my small story
Just like a woman who walks in the street
I will pay for my life with my body
What price to pay
For bad wisdom
What price to pay
For bad wisdom
Too young to know
Too much too soon
Bad wisdom

Being "labeled" something does not determine who we are.

Incest Results Truth
Christian Incest Research Concerns

Do doctors have the right to say who we are? Did they create us? Did they know us before we were born? No !!! God did. God created us. God knew us before we were in our mother's womb.

Isaiah 49:1

... The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

God knows how many hairs are on our head.

Matthew 10:30

But the very hairs on your head are all numbered.

Check out this story from the Bible:

Mark 5:25-29

25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

Incest Results Help
Christian Incest Research Warning

In this story a woman was very ill and doctors could do nothing for her and what they did do made her worse and took all her money to do so.

In like manner, when these doctors "diagnose" those of us who have been abused, they tend to pick and choose various labels, based on the limited information we provide them. We sometimes believe that we have to diagnose the "illness" before we can get better. In some situations that is true.

But ... We can't go to the emergency room for a stomach ache and tell them "my head hurts" and then complain when the medicine doesn't help. Why didn't the medicine help? Because we weren't honest. How can we be completely honest about what we have experienced and the resulting emotional roller coaster with a total stranger or anyone for that matter?

Are we even honest with ourselves? Are we able to distinguish why one emotion comes and another follows? How can they? Have they been in our shoes? Have they encountered what we have? I think not. They attempt to treat the resulting emotions and not the source.

Many of us have tried the whole therapy trip. Been there, done that, selling the T shirts now. Think of how many or few we have tried. Some may not have believed our story at all. Did we just accept that? Or did we secretly think in the back of our minds, "well, maybe it didn't happen," all because of what one doctor said to us after spending a few hours with us.

It seems ironic though that each therapist or doctor you go to has a different diagnosis. We are manic to one, yet borderline personality with this one, we are making things up to this one, and this one thinks its just a little post traumatic stress disorder. So, take these pills and I'll see you in a week to sit in a room with you again for an hour.

Don't forget your checkbook.

The Doctor is In

Charlie Brown from Peanuts Oh, Lucy. I'm so depressed. I don't know what to do.

Lucy from Peanuts I think what you need most of all, Charlie Brown, is to come right out and admit all of the things that are wrong with you.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts All right, I'll try. I'm not very handsome or clever, or lucid. I've always been stupid at spelling and numbers. I've never been much playing football or baseball or stickball, or checkers, or marbles, or ping-pong. I'm usually awful at parties and dances, I stand like a stick or I cough, or I laugh, or I don't bring a present, or I spill the ice cream, or I get so depressed that I stand and I scream ... Oh, how could there possibly be one small person as thoroughly, totally, utterly blah as me.

Lucy from Peanuts Well, that's ok for a starter.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts A starter?

Lucy from Peanuts Certainly. You don't think that mentioning these few superficial failings is going to do you any good, do you? Why, Charlie Brown, you really have to delve. You're stupid, self-centered and moody.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts I'm moody

Lucy from Peanuts You're terribly dull to be with.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts Yes I am. And nobody likes me, not Frieda, or Shermy, or Linus, or Schroeder-

Lucy from Peanuts Or Lucy.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts Or Lucy.

Lucy from Peanuts Or Snoopy.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts Or Sn- Wait a minute. Snoopy likes me.

Lucy from Peanuts He only pretends to like you because you feed him. That doesn't count.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts Or Snoopy. Oh why- was I born just to be one small person as thoroughly, totally, utterly-

Lucy from Peanuts Wait! You're not very much of a person ...

Charlie Brown from Peanuts That's certain

Lucy from Peanuts And yet there's a reason for hope.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts There's hope?

Lucy from Peanuts For although you are no good at music, like Schroeder, or happy like Snoopy, or lovely like me, you have the distinction to be no one else but the singular, remarkable, unique Charlie Brown.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts I'm me!

Lucy from Peanuts Yes- it's amazingly true, for whatever it's worth, Charlie Brown, You're you.

Charlie Brown from Peanuts Gosh, Lucy you know something. I'm beginning to feel better already. You're a true friend, Lucy, a true friend.

Lucy from Peanuts That'll be five cents, please.

Seeking Incest Results
Christian Incest Research Danger

If we have a broken bone, it doesn't matter how many doctors look at it, you can see it is broken and all will come to the same conclusion. But our "ailment" is not physical in that sense.

When it comes to our spirit, our emotions, our mind, our soul ... Don't you think God would know best? The maker of our soul? The lover of our soul?

Remember how we read that God knew the number of hairs on our head? Do you know how many hairs are you on your head? The exact number? Or even an estimate? God knows the exact number. Even after we brush our hair and pull out more of it. He knows the precise number. Doesn't it sound like He knows us better than we could ever know ourselves?

Think about that ... We are talking about what doctors label us ... And how they don't really know us at all. Yet ... Do we do the same thing? Do we label ourselves and believe it because we think we know ourselves better than God?

What do we call and label ourselves as?

We have been sexually abused so we believe that that makes us damaged goods for the rest of our lives. We believe we are nothing but broken, tainted, and used, ugly, unlovable, unhealable, miserable, and a waste of life.

Is what we say any better than what the doctors say about us? It doesn't change a thing. You remember all the labels we got when we went to those doctors? Each doctor had a different diagnosis for us. Some of them even disagreed when they found out what other doctors said.

When we get told by doctors that we have this and/or that, and they slap labels on us, we believe them. Then they prescribe all these pills that may not even be needed ... Causing us to believe that we are inadequate without these drugs. They force us to believe that we can't live "normally" without them. They teach us that being too happy, or being too excited, or having too much energy, or feeling sad, or being afraid of being hurt again is a not normal and actually a bad thing ... When it's not.

Am I saying all doctors are wrong? No. Am I saying none of us should be on medication to assist us in healing? No. In fact I am saying:

Actual Incest Results

But ... I am saying getting second and even third opinions from doctors (without telling the doctor what other doctors said) is wise and it would be really great to get the same diagnosis and prescriptions, without being someone's lab rat. I mean think about it ... If their diagnosis is correct and their prescription is accurate ... Why are we still messed up within? We need a real doctor for this.

Doctor Jesus
by Randy Travis

You know, I've got so many problems
And lately, I've been feelin' kinda down
I hear you're the one I should talk to
I hear you're the best healer around

Chorus:
Doctor Jesus, will you help me?
Make me better, make me whole
Doctor Jesus, Lord I need you
To mend my heart, and save my soul

There's so many out there who need you
Do you think you could work me in?
You see I'm in the worst of conditions
But mostly, I just need me a friend

Come on in the Room
by The Georgia Mass Choir

Chorus 1
Come on in the room,
come on in the room;
Jesus is my doctor
and He writes out all of my prescriptions,
He gives me all of my medicine in the room.

Chorus 2
There is joy, joy in the room,
joy in the room;
Jesus is my doctor
and He writes out all of my prescriptions,
He gives me all of my medicine in the room.

True Incest Results
Christian Incest Research Secret

We just need to visit the true healer as well as our physical doctor ... The One and only One that can heal us just by touching our hearts, minds, and souls.

His diagnosis is that we are a lost and troubled child and His prescription is love. That is the prescription we need to start taking everyday. Not only knowing He loves us but loving Him. Not only loving those around us, but loving ourselves.

God's label is that we are:

God's Property

We are His child!

This next song shows that we may not be perfect, but that is okay. On our own, we can't make it very far. When we go to God for guidance, healing, and love ... He can lead the way. He has plans for us. We are free to be ourselves. Just as we are. No labels. No tummy badges. Just us. That's all He wants.

Free to Be Me
by Francesca Battistelli

At twenty years of age
I'm still looking for a dream
A war is already waged for my destiny
But You've already won the battle
And You've got great plans for me
Though I can't always see, 'cause ...

I got a couple dents in my fender
Got a couple rips in my jeans
Try to fit the pieces together
But perfection is my enemy
And on my own I'm so clumsy
But on Your shoulders I can see
I'm free to be me

When I was just a girl
I thought I had it figured out
See my life will turn out right
And I'll make it here somehow
But things don't always come that easy
And sometimes I would doubt, 'cause ...

I got a couple dents in my fender
Got a couple rips in my jeans
Try to fit the pieces together
But perfection is my enemy
And on my own I'm so clumsy
But on Your shoulders I can see
I'm free to be me
And you're free to be you

Sometimes I believe
That I can do anything
Yet other times I think
I've got nothing good to bring

But You look at my heart and you tell me
That I've got all You seek
And it's easy to believe, even though ...

I got a couple dents in my fender
Got a couple rips in my jeans
Try to fit the pieces together
But perfection is my enemy
And on my own I'm so clumsy
But on Your shoulders I can see
I'm free to be me
And you're free to be you

Wow. What a different feeling it is to have all those labels taken off, ripped off, and burned. We belong to God. No one else. We are ... "God's Property."

God says:

  • You are mine.
  • You are beautiful.
  • You are bought with a price.
  • You are precious.
  • You are perfect in my eyes.
  • You have a purpose.
  • You are a treasured possession.
  • You are my child.
