I know you're excited about this story because of
the title, so let's get started right away. First of all, we're gonna
go find out what Paul says
Heaven
is like. He says, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for
them that love Him (I
Corinthians 2:9). Paul must have
been inspired the same as Isaiah was when he wrote in
Isaiah 64:4,
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived
by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what He
hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him. That inspiration was God
and the Holy Spirit (II
Timothy 3:16-17,
II Peter 1:19-21).
Stop and think about that for a moment. Think of
Heaven and what you think it's like. Think of what it looks like, the
pureness of everything, the smell of the air, the blissfulness of
everything. Now, the imagination is a pretty vast thing. You probably
have some pretty magnificent ideas about Heaven. Guess what. Nobody
that has ever lived, can even begin to think of how wonderful it is!
The imagination isn't good enough, vast enough, capable enough to
imagine it. Is that cool or what? And all you have to do is love God
and believe in His Son Jesus Christ in order to earn the everlasting
gift from Him that Heaven is. That, folks, is a great deal.
HEAVEN IS DESCRIBED AS BEING SO AWESOME, THAT IT
SURPASSES ONE'S IMAGINATION. JESUS TOLD HIS APOSTLES THAT THEY COULD
NOT IMAGINE WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR THE BELIEVERS.
Let's look at some parables that Jesus used to
describe the
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
and see if we can expand our
imaginations a little bit.
It is given unto you to know the
mysteries
of the
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
Let's solve the Mystery ...
The
Kingdom Of Heaven
is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and planted in his
field. It's the smallest of all seeds, but when it's grown, it's the
biggest among herbs, and becomes a tree big enough for the birds to
come and lodge in the branches.
The Kingdom Of Heaven
is like leaven (yeast), which a woman
took and hid in three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.
The Kingdom Of Heaven
is like a treasure hidden in a field that
a man found. Because of his joy, he went and sold all he had, and
bought that field.
The Kingdom Of Heaven
is like a merchant man, looking for fine
pearls, and when he found one of great value, he sold all he had, and
bought it.
The Kingdom Of Heaven
is like a net that was thrown into the
sea and caught every kind of fish. When it was full, they pulled the
net into shore, sat down, and gathered the good fish, but threw the
bad away. It will be the same at the end of the world: The Angels will
come and separate the wicked from the righteous and will throw them
into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Therefore every scribe (scholar) which is instructed
unto the Kingdom Of Heaven
is like unto a man that is an householder, which
bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
JESUS TOLD MORE IN CHAPTERS 13-25 OF THE BOOK OF
MATTHEW.

As we read His Words we begin to understand that
this
Kingdom Of Heaven
is not so much a specific place but rather ... A
state of mind and heart.
That is why we are taught that we cannot fathom what
Heaven is like. It’s cuz it is more than a place that is here or
there. It is more like being IN LOVE and it envelops our whole being.
And as anyone who has TRULY been IN LOVE knows ...
It's more than words can say.
No matter what ... It's gonna be so great, you just can't
imagine!
