BROKEN HEARTS
CHRISTIANITY OASIS HAS PROVIDED YOU WITH THIS BROKEN
HEARTS STUDY.
BROKEN HEARTS ARE QUITE FREQUENT WHEN WE ALLOW OUR
EMOTIONS TO OVERCOME OUR UNDERSTANDING. LET US SEEK AND FIND THE
TRUTH OF THE ORIGINS OF BROKEN HEARTS TOGETHER, SHALL WE?
Most
of us, at some point in time in our lives, have had our
hearts broken due to someone's words or deeds or something
that occurred. The resulting broken heart can put us in a
state of depression and darkness, which can become almost
unbearable.
Many choose to just choose to accept living with this broken
heart.
No my friends ... There is no gain in this for man or God.
This soul needs to ask the TRUE question. And that TRUE
question is ... How does one become healed of a broken
heart?
THE ANSWER IS AS IT IS WITH EVERY MATTER. SHED THE LIGHT OF
TRUTH INTO YOUR HEART.
Again ... There are lots of sources of a broken heart. It us
usually due to the feeling of being hurt by someone or
something that occured.
Many obtain this broken heart when they lose personal
possessions or something they considered as being theirs.
Others feel this broken heart when they lose loved ones.
These souls that they lost are deemed as being THEIRS in
their mind and heart and when these "possessions" are taken
away, the soul feels hurt and seeks someone to blame. In
many cases, the soul even chooses to blame God.
If only we would understand these words shared with us in
God's Word ...
|
1 Timothy 6:7
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is
certain we can carry nothing out. |
We
need to RENEW our minds with this TRUTH ...
NOTHING IS OURS ... Everything that we obtain on Earth is
temporal.
As far as material possessions that come and go in life ...
HEAR the TRUTH ... Our treasures are to be in HEAVEN ...
|
Matthew 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where
moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break
through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures
in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For
where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |
In the
event that a soul loses a loved one to death or divorce, it
may help ease the pain for us to UNDERSTAND ... This
understanding may just be the answer to mending the heart.
God wants you to be happy again. He hasn’t forgotten or
abandoned you. He will never forget you.
I’d like for you to open your mind and heart to some things
that may bring you closer to the understanding that can heal
your fragile heart. We know that God has reasons for what He
does, and we have to TRUST that the things that happen in
our lives, though they may seem tragic, may be His will.
WE MUST OBTAIN UNDERSTANDING ...
|
I Thessalonians 4:13-18
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope. For if we believe
that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this
we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall
not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord
Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with
the voice of the ArchAngel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which
are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and
so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort
one another with these words.

Understanding, believing, and trusting that your loved one
is truly in a better place now is vital to healing. The life
that we hope for as Christians, the life we long for and
await every day of our lives is the life that your loved one
is now enjoying. To grieve for them, is to grieve for their
receiving the reward … The promise, that we all live for.
|
1 John 2:25
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even
eternal life. |
While
this TRUTH is known to us down deep, our hearts still search
for reasons why. Why did God have to take them? If we could
just understand why … We feel like we could accept it better
and our delicate heart could be on the mend. Let’s look at
some reasons why.
DELIVERED FROM EVIL
It may be that God didn’t take your loved one from you, but
perhaps He set them free from something that they were
suffering or that might have happened if He didn’t.
|
Isaiah 57:1-2
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to
heart: and merciful men are taken away, none
considering that the righteous is taken away from the
evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall
rest in their beds, each one walking in his
uprightness.
|
Only
God knows what the future holds for us. If there was
something that God didn’t want your loved one to experience,
that may be the reason why. People always try and console
others who lose a loved one by saying “They’re in a better
place now.” Nothing could be closer to the TRUTH.
What about our loved ones suffering before they pass to the
next realm?Sometimes when we wonder why God “allows” people
to suffer prior to death of the body, maybe we’re just
looking at it wrong.
Maybe we need to look at it like this, He’s not letting them
become weak, but rather are becoming stronger IN them
because when we’re weak, we turn to Him for strength and
comfort and we should rejoice that He gives us the
opportunity to be “made perfect” before He frees us from our
earthly bodies to become His Angels.
Another TRUTH to ponder on ... These are GOD'S children, not
OUR possession. Even our husbands and wives. They are merely
a GIFT given by God while we are here, but once one or the
other dies, the marriage is HISTORY ...
|
Matthew 22:23-30
The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that
there is no resurrection, and asked him, Saying,
Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children,
his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed
unto his brother. Now there were with us seven
brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife,
deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his
brother: Likewise the second also, and the third, unto
the seventh. And last of all the woman died also.
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be
of the seven? for they all had her. Jesus answered and
said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures,
nor the power of God.
For in
the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in
marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

This
reveals the TRUTH of the words ... "Till death do we part"
To those who have lost a loved one ... I ask you to ask
yourself this simple question ... IF you could hear your
loved one, that you lost, speak to you now ... What would
they ask you to do? Mourn for the loss of them allowing it
to destroy your life or GET UP and CARRY ON?
Now there is another common source of a Broken Heart ...
In many cases, misunderstandings can occur between folks
and even Christian friends ... In particular on the computer
as it has no heart to express the words that we share.
Many times, when these misunderstandings occur and are not
talked out, that a soul can feel hurt and very deeply
sometimes.
Many times when we feel this hurt within that no matter what
the person, that we feel hurt us, says or does from that
point on ... It is seen as being spoken against us, despite
what the true intent may have been.
It is as if there is a magnet seeking to pull in ANYTHING
negative as to confirm our hurt and righteousness for
holding the anger and pain within.
I have seen this often ...
So how do we heal THIS type of broken heart?
SIMPLE ... By talking about it with the one(s) that this
soul feels broke their heart as our LORD told us to do.
|
Matthew 18:15
If your brother sins against you, go and talk to him
about it alone, and if he will hear you (make peace),
you've gained your brother. |
But
alas ... I see a diff path is chosen by many Christians. One
which leads to darkness and despair and the pain within only
increases and this is why Jesus shared that we are to go and
talk it out with the soul in question.
But, we all know that oft times that seems like a hard path
to choose, especially if we have said many things in that
darkness, that we were in, to both that soul ... And others.
It is as tho we want to save face over being healed.
Let's talk turkey ... It's pretty obvious why we get hurt.
We feel we have been wronged by another and if it was in
front of others ... Pride kicks in.
So we oft times seek to defend ourselves to those who we
feel may have thought this or that over the matter and
CHOOSE to carry it on for whatever reasoning we may have
had.
We have all experienced this ...
And the WEIRD thing is ... Even if we find out later that we
may have misunderstood, we sometimes still murmur reasons to
ourselves as to why it was acceptable to have misunderstood
assuming this person was trying to disrespect us.
ONE MAJOR PROB with this path ... Our Lord gives us no
room to use that as an excuse to stay in the darkness ...
|
1 Peter 2:19-20
For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience
toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For
what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your
faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do
well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is
acceptable with God. |
We are
to accept suffering wrongfully.
Now even tho this was Peter sharing this, He was inspired by
the Holy Spirit and sharing the WORD of God ... Which IS
Jesus.
|
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. The same was in the
beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and
without Him was not any thing made that was made. |
|
John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and
we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten
of the Father,) full of grace and TRUTH.
|
Therefore ... Jesus asks us to forgive, whether we were
wrong or right as to not be encaged by the snare of the
enemy of our soul.
So we are left with but one TRUTH, which will heal us within
when we have chosen the dark path ...
Do what Jesus has asked of us ...
Or admit that we are telling our Lord NO and hold that hurt
within.
That soul is no longer in CON-tention with the soul in
question but rather the Lord who required us to forgive and
carry on even if we were wrongfully and despitefully hurt.
You see my friends ... The hurt will never leave, even
if you do. It will only grow within. The magnet will seek
another to be seen as hurting you and they probably were not
either but that magnet does not care. It will make it appear
that way and that is when we begin to build that wall around
our heart and become the puppet to that pride, anger and/or
pain.
Let go
and let God ...
Now what if the broken heart one has is being blamed on GOD
...
The same rules apply ...
TALK TO GOD about it ... He WILL bring peace. But to just
run around telling everybody else how God or man hurt you
will NEVER resolve the issue. Only place you in more
contention with GOD.
Ponder and pray on this ...
Take
care and have a SON-derful day
