CHAT ROOM HELP

If you have fallen out of the chat room and cant get back in it is because you either lost your connection with the internet or you exited out of the chat room without clicking the button to log off. Example: you X out of the page without logging off first.

The chat server can be delayed some times before removing your name out of the chat room. Usually no more than several minutes. But often it can take up to an hour especially if you are continually trying to get back in chat when you weren't properly logged off. To fix this, you need to clear your java cache.

How to Clear your java cache:

On your desktop of Windows at the bottom left of your screen Click the Start button. Then locate the Control Panel on the Start Menu and click it. Find the Java icon or text and click it.

On this menu, Click Settings under Temporary Internet Files. Click Delete Files. Click OK to close the window.

NOTE: Your version of java may have a bit different window than these instructions. The main thing is to delete your files from Java.

After this, close out the window with the actual Chat Room, if you haven't done so already. Go back to the Main Forums page. Refresh this page and then click on the Chat Rooms link.

To Prevent this from happening in the future, when you leave chat always log out using the button with the 2 arrows on the toolbar OR Select Action from the top menu and click on Exit.
