Every tv channel I turn on has some sort of show with people using the Lords name in vain. Then there is the mocking of Jesus. And don't forget the rest of the junk that is there. Not to long ago I read about how the Comedy Central channel is going to show a cartoon mocking Jesus. Here is what really gets me. There has been people mocking other religions and getting introuble for it either by death threat or censored but when it come to our heavenly Father nothing is said. To many people are excepting false teachings and that bothers me. The tv thing bothers me. My folks have a friend that comes over every now in then and every other word that comes out of his mouth uses the Lords name in vain. That bothers me. (One of these days I am going to confront him on that). I feel so helpless because I can't do anything about the tv or movies. I am praying every day for people who believe that there is more than one way to heaven, praying for those who take out parts of the bible that they don't like, and I am praying that more christians will stand up for Jesus and not hide behind the walls of the church or the home. (Myself included). Those who claim to be atheist advertise more than christians. Will you please stand with me in prayer for the lost and hurting? Pray that the movie makers and tv producers will start coming up with more family and biblical shows. Please, the time is short and there is allot of people who still don't get it.

Now, I correct total strangers even at the grocery store cuz it IS our place to be our brother's keeper and our correction may have em make the right choice.

Most are just lil monkeys mimicking what they hear around em and do not understand what they are doing.

We do ... That makes it our responsibility to speak up.

Good morning bluebird.nice to "unofficially" meet you.I am "listening" when you talk about the media and all the garbage it brings into our homes.i discovered a few years back,there isn't really a single thing I can do about what's placed before our eyes via t.v. but I also don't have to watch it.Since my kids were newborns,I only chose to have cable once and for that very reason@a bunch of smut,violence,and stuff that couldn't possibly be good for our minds.And that was before I became a Christian.Back then I went out and bought my own dvd's and still do stuff like that.(buy them or o to the library).That way you yourself are selecting what you watch.Ange suggested a website to me a week ago called Godtube.And as you know,what we watch,allow into our homes and our lives will eventually tax our walk with Jesus.Check that site out sometime if you'd like Far as the whole cuss word thing goes,we can choose to be more like Brandon and I am kinda the same way(be vocal and stand up for what you believe in),pray for the person,which is definitely neccessary it sounds like or do all the above and walk away knowing you did something.Jesus had to deal with alot more than swearing and the media.Look to him for guidance in how to react to life's situations as best you can and pray. I've seen people further away than that from God and I used to be one of them.Thank God for his never-ending Grace and love for us.What in the world would we do without it and our "family in Christ"?
