But, whats one bit of advice (relationship, health, food etc) that your mom/guardian gave you while you were growing up that you still hold on to today?

My mom told me to be very careful into talking with unknown ladies

so,I am still taking that serious....

Also,she told me not to take any candies from unknown people too!!

i always hear people saying "my momma used to say..."

but there's not really anything i can say that my momma always says
nothing good anyway,

and that's funny liz

My mommy . . . she told me I could get a conversation started with a girl by talking about her garden. Well . . . now, here in Oasis, we talk about weeding our gardens. So, may be my mommy knew all you girls would be showing up.

I did a lot of learning by finding out what I shouldn't have said and done.

But, later in my life, she told me to listen to people, not to just talk talk talk.

my mom still says I brought you into this world i can take you out.

she says "just say one more word, one more" over and over.

My dad has always told me the guys don't gain a brain or care about a girl until they are at least 23.

Both have said go to college and get a degree.
