ok...another thought for today...like i said so many thoughts .....

you know that kid saying "stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"? well it's not entirely true, right? we all know words hurt...a lot. but at the same time if we recognize the words are coming from someone who's likely hurting himself, we can turn to God and say "look Father these mean words hurt, but i forgive them. and i lift so-n-so up to you because You know his heart and You see where those hurtful words are coming from. so i ask in Jesus' name that You give him peace and healing according to your will". then He gives us peace and the sting of the hateful words goes away.

so then if we have a positive reaction to the hurtful words, DO they really hurt us? or do they make us stronger?

just thoughts

Hello Stillstanding (((hugs)))

God bless you this day.

Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!

John 20:21-23
(21) Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you.
(22) And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
(23) Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

God's Word is so Good! \o/ \o/ \o/ Thank You Jesus

God bless and keep you, Stillstanding.

a week of loss and sorrow.
prayers seemingly answered. or the enemy's traps were laid.
right or wrong choices.
uncertainty.
my eyes are dripping tears again even now.

sometimes things get all blurry. trying to figure out which part was the test - the mountain - and where the avalanche started. is it things in the spiritual that are out of our control? is it a test for me or is it a test for the other people involved? was my part in the play just for their learning, because i'm not sure what i'm really gaining through this...really.

i truly want what God wants for me, and i know Father knows best - always. But i know He wants me to have the desires of my heart as well. so where do those things catch up to each other?

I know sorrow will pass. I know joy comes in the morning. but the night really really stinks! all the doubts and wonderings. well what if i... or what if they...or coulda woulda shoulda...ugh

*dunno*

this too shall pass...but why did it hafta happen in the first place? why do people hafta be self-centered me-me-me shady dirty lowlifes? especially when they are in the business of supposedly loving caring and supporting families and children? why is it that this is so obviously the work He wants me to do when He knows that i can't last long with those people? it just ends up making me look like the bad guy and making it exponentially harder for me to get a job the next time....

Hello Stillstanding (((hugs)))

God bless you this day.

While I do not know your exact trial or challenge, I do know you love The Lord and that He loves you. So, it all will be okay.

Sometimes the lesson is finding His peace in the midst of chaos.

There is another variable, I think we often overlook...I Corinthians 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

We are not on this path alone, but intermingled and intertwined with those that are also on His path, and we'll be used in His ministering to them, and them us.

I know it gets a little confusing at times (((hugs))), but rest in Him, and stay with Him in today...don't look down the path too far.

Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's will be made known and done.

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack

a dream....

so i was at at my house and my youngest son was there also (he's 5). i heard a huge BANG! like a bomb went off and ran to look out the window. what i saw was men working with monsters. the monsters were alive, but they looked like robots - mechanical - and the men were directing them - even riding on them like tractors. the monster right outside my window stood on 4 legs and he really looked and moved like a daddy longlegs only with just 4 legs. a man sat on the small body at the top and center of the legs. he was directing the monster in something they were building. the man wasn't driving like it was a machine, he was telling the monster what to do. there were several pairs like this around not all exactly alike, but similar.

i was terrified by this. it was like an entire army. they were everywhere and they appeared overnight. they had not been here the day before. in my mind i thought to myself "this is the end time - and it's just like in my dream". (I have not previously had a dream just like this.)

i grabbed my 5 year old and laundry. i wasn't worried about the other kids (all age 9+). i briefly thought about them and i thought "they are OK. i can't go get them right now, but they are fine". i put my son in the car and buckled him in his car seat and had my laundry. and drove to my other house. everywhere there were men and monsters working. and tons of machines and equipment for building and tearing things down. they were not destroying homes but building in everyone's front, side, and backyards like they had the right to be there. they could do whatever they wanted. i knew we had allowed them somehow to just build and destroy whatever and wherever. i was so scared, but they didn't pay much attention to me as i drove by them. occasionally some would look at me, but it was like someone said to them "don't worry about them" (meaning my son and myself).

i got to my other house and was frantic about getting the laundry done. the monsters and men were in my yard too. there were drilling rigs for oil wells and all this machinery and there were explosions. but i kept thinking "this is just like the dream i had. this is the end time. it's just like in my dream."

this dream isn't bad pizza at midnight. i have regular dreams and then i have dreams that i know mean something deeper - God dreams.

Thoughts?

love yall

Hello StillStanding (((hugs)))

God bless you this day.

Yes, your dream sounds like, what I call, a God dream -- a God dream about End Times. In Revelation chapter 9 it describes some horrendous looking locusts, and they go about destroying, and there is great torment.

Something to think about is this...you could see what was going on, and you had a protective force round about you. God is with you. Keep seeking Him.

God bless and keep you, StillStanding.

Mack

familiar spirits...

i hate to catch myself "zoned out" thinking about totally random nonsense that means absolutley nothing and wonder how in the world did i start thinking of this. or in any random situation my mind goes off the deep end into these brilliantly visual experiences of the worst possible scenarios. like driving... the other day i went to the store and some how while driving my mind wandered off to this horrible visual of a horrendous accident involving my 2 daughters. they had left shortly before me to go somewhere together with the older driving.

when i snap out of the "trance" and come back to reality, sometimes with tears in my eyes, i just pray...acknowledge that God's in control and thank Him for that.

i know how it happens. or i'm pretty certain anyways. familiar spirits...demons...generational curses - you've heard of those. they have been hanging around your family - ancestors - for decades (or centuries?) that's why they are familiar. they are familiar with you. they know you better than you know yourself! they whisper little things to you all day trying to get you sidetracked from God, trying to keep you from controlling your own thoughts, from self-control. you may wonder then "they can't hear our thoughts. they are not omniscient". You're right. they aren't. but they know us so well they can tell by our reactions, heart rate, perspiration, body language, facial expressions, biological signs, that the whisper worked. now they have you thinking about what they wanted you to be thinking about and they string you along with other little whispers. and what were you doing when you were distracted by them? do you remember? was it important? if you were driving, were you safe? if you can't even remember the last few minutes while you were zoned out?

just thoughts to think about...
Colossians 3:2 (NASB) 2 [a]Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

Ephesians 6:12 (NASB)
12 For our struggle is not against [a]flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NASB)
7 For God has not given us a spirit of [a]timidity, but of power and love and [b]discipline.

Romans 12:2 (NASB)
2 And do not be conformed to this [a]world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may [b]prove what the will of God is, that which is good and [c]acceptable and perfect.

Philippians 4:8 (NASB)
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is [a]lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, [b]dwell on these things.

Hello StillStanding (((hugs)))

God bless you this day. :)

Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!

I agree, Amen!!!

For decades, I was tormented by those type of thoughts -- convinced that the reason for those thoughts was so I could intervene and prevent the tragedy before it unfolded. Feeling that I was now responsible for all that stuff was overwhelming, exhausting and it stole my life, and my desire to live. I suppose that is how some diviners get started...seers, etc. We have to remember, there is a huge spiritual realm all around us...unseen, by most, but heard by many, and it can be absolutely overwhelming.

About 7 years ago, I was sitting in my kitchen and suddenly I started worrying, once again, about my daughter. I frantically started praying for her. And The Lord spoke to me "Stop, praying for her out of fear!!! Don't you know that I love her more than you do?" And along with that message, a power came over me so strong, I felt as if I was gasping for my next breath, but yet, it was AMAZING!!! It probably only lasted a few seconds, but it was so powerful, and it kind of scared me. But, quickly, I knew...I had just been allowed to feel a small dose of the power of His Love for her (my daughter). It was the most amazing experience, and one I will never forget. From that day forward, anytime a negative and worrying thought would enter into my mind about her, I would (and still do) remember that experience with my Lord!!! And the worry melts away, instantly, as I praise His name!!!

The worrying and crippling thoughts have lessened over the years, but some raise their ugly head on occasion, and crop up once in a while. But, the moment I realize I'm doing that thang...zoning, I tell the thought to leave in the name of Jesus, and it does. Praise God!!!

Fear and worry are the opposite of faith!!!

God has gifted His children with discernment, and as He develops that within us, by the indwelling and working of The Holy Spirit, He will use that blessed discernment to lead us and also to warn us. But, there is a huge difference between how He works and how evil works. Getting to know Him, our Lord and Saviour, and His Word is key. \o/ \o/ \o/

StandingStill, I'm so happy for you, that you now know the Truth in this matter. God is so very Good!!!

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack
