Happy 4th..a tad late..but better late than never as they say..love you all so much!

If we are in Christ and His words in us?

Today we will begin to fill in the guts of the gospel contemporary framers of Christian doctrine have left out. The guts of the gospel are those mysterious statements by our Lord and His apostles that defy human reasoning. We cannot explain them unless it has been given to us experience them. Our verse for today is John 15:7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Our high calling of God in Christ Jesus is a call into the unity of His body. We are told in Matthew 7:14 that our beginning in life must be at the strait gate. If we agree that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, then we must conclude that He is the strait gate. Our first step into life, then, must be to enter into that life that can only be found in Him. Entering into Christ requires four things of us. (1). Hear that which He has spoken to us. (2). Believe that He died for us. (3). Repent of our sins. (4). Be baptized in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Abiding in Christ and His Words in us begins the moment we believe in Him. We ask what we will and it is done unto us. In our first case of asking, we asked for Him to save us from our sins. Life in Him is granted to us and we are loosed from our sins. What we asked was done unto us. If we abide in Him and His Words in us, we ask what we will and it shall be done unto us. Now we have entered at the strait gate. We are alive in He that is the way, the truth, and the life. We are on the straight and narrow.

But such is not the end of our abiding in Him and His words in us. The Bible is rich in promises, as it is written; we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly Places. We already know that we are joint heirs with Him, and if joint heirs, then all things that the Father has that belong to Jesus, also belong to us.

We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly Places. Being baptized in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is not the end of our abiding in Christ or His words in us. There is so much more. Surely we have heard the Word of the Lord that we shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days hence? Certainly, of our many blessings in Heavenly Places, the blessing of being baptized in the Holy Spirit is a must. Were we baptized in the name of the Father and the Son only?

How can we allow serpent tongued individuals draw us away from the reality of the Holy Spirit? His presence within is our hope of glory. How shall we continue in Christ without Him?

Do we remember the parable of the ten virgins? The five that were wise took oil in their lamps. The five that did not take oil in their lamps found that their lamps had gone out when they awoke. Having our lamp full of the oil of the Holy Spirit is a must, as to do without will leave us alone in the dark.

Therefore, the word of our baptism in the Holy Spirit must abide in us, and we must ask to be baptized in Him, as such will be done unto us. If we abide in Him and His words in us, we shall ask what we will and it shall be done unto us.

Now that we are in Christ and His words in us we can ask what we will and it shall be done unto us. Are there more spiritual blessings in Heavenly Places that belong to us? Of course! There is the word that we may receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened that we may know the hope of our calling and the riches of His glory in us and the greatness of His power to those of us that believe. (Eph.1:17-19).

Through the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God the mind of Christ comes to us. The Lord is present in us to help us in all that we do, and the Father comes to us and loves us as He loved the Lord Jesus, His love now in us we have eternal life, as the eternal life of God our Father is Love. To experience the Love our Heavenly Father has for us is our Heavenly Father living in us. When we have the love of the Father in us, we have eternal life, as eternal life is in His Love.
