Elisha became God's prophet in Elijah's place. He wanted a double portion of Elijah's spirit. Soon after he became a prophet, there were some children making fun of him because he had no hair. Elisha cursed the children in the name of the Lord and two bears came out of the woods and killed 42 children. Elisha did many miracles. Through Elisha, God healed people and he blinded the eyes of enemies who fought against His people. Elisha prayed for a woman who had no children, and then the woman had a son. With God, Elisha brought that same child back to life after he died and he healed the waters of Jericho.
