Esther was chosen to be the queen, when king Ahasuerus’ first queen, Vashti, would not obey him. Esther was very beautiful. One of the king’s servants, Haman, wanted all the Hebrews in the kingdom to be destroyed, so he made a plan and the king agreed. Esther was an Hebrew, but the king did not know it. Esther made a plan with her uncle Mordecai, and saved the Hebrews from Haman’s evil plan.
